Deployment 2008; Day 10

Things are going ok here. The kids miss Daddy, of course. Kennedy still doesn't get it. She asks for Daddy a lot. While he was in Kuwait they got to do a voice chat and see him on a webcam. They all thought that was pretty cool. Since then they have talked to him on the phone once and Kass and Kam have written him letters which I WILL get to the post office this week sometime. (I'm totally the WORST procrastinator when it comes to the post office and the bank!)

As for Frank he's doing well over there. He will be working nights which is a good thing because he'll be on the same schedule as us. He'd rather sleep during the day anyway. He is set up in an open room in a big building with lots of other guys but he said they use their stuff to kind of build walls up so they have some privacy. They can still hear each other's music and stuff though. I told him it was a good thing he's working nights so the rest of the guys don't have to hear him snore! LOL Can you feel the love?

My stupid Disney vacation ticker wasn't working... I don't know if anyone even noticed it below my blog roll over to the left. I'll have to find another site that has them and try that. We are SO looking forward to May! :)

Thanks Shannon for the advice on the ticker!

So are you telling me that surgery didn't help him with the snoring? That must mean there is no hope for Todd LOL I am excited for your trip in May....Maybe you guys could meet us...Maybe ;)

http://www.criticallayouts.com/content/blogcategory/350/444/ has great countdowns and then I usually sticky post them above the rest of my posts. Have fun at Disney.
