Keeghan and Kennedy update...

Hi everyone!

Just a quick update... I had to take Keeghan to the doctor a couple hours ago and he has (surprise, surprise) another ear infection. *sigh* He JUST ended his last round of antibiotics a couple days ago so he's back to the 3 shots of rocephin again. I'll need to take him tomorrow and Saturday afternoon for the other two. He has now been on a 10 day course of Amoxicillan, 10 days of Omnicef, then 3 shots of Rocephin, then two 10 day courses of Augmentin and now we're back to the shots again. Dumb ears! His left ear is clear right now but his right ear is pretty bad. That's been the worst one the whole time. The doctor we saw today said we need to schedule an appointment with his pediatrician the beginning of next week for "the tube talk." *sigh* At least tubes will take care of this for good! (I pray!)

Kennedy is doing well, we will be at Vandy twice for her next week: Monday for an ENT appointment (too bad they can't see Keeghan too!) and then Tuesday at the hemonc clinic to get her counts checked. Please pray those both go well.

Please continue to pray for our little friend Carson as well. His mom set up a caringbridge page for him so please go check it out and let them know you're praying! I know it means a lot to their whole family as they are facing lots of unknowns right now.

I am thankful our pediatric's office has an evening and weekend clinic!
