So I'm sitting in my basement...

A couple tornados were spotted a few streets over from my house... my oldest 2 kids are at school and Kennedy and Keeghan are looking at me like I'm insane. Anyone see Desperate Housewives lately?! I HATE tornados! Pray we are all safe please!!!!

Update 1:21... we're safe and the sky is clear! The tornados are moving into KY so please pray for the people there. I've heard there are downed trees and power lines here, but not much more.

Update: 2:10... Another storm headed our way...

Update: 4:50... seems to be a false alarm, all is well here!

I'm with you! Everytime the weather gets iffy we head for the basement! Glad they've moved on. It's so weird to have them this time of year.

I never understand why people make such a big deal about earthquakes. They are like a roller coaster at Disneyland. Now tornadoes on the other hand... Nope I don't do those. I am glad to hear you guys are clear ! H

Wow, scary. I hate tornados. Where I live, there were some horrible tornados (we live in the NE, NOT tornado valley) about 25 years ago. The twisters flattened a huge path, mostly rural areas, but many people were killed or hurt. I didn't live here then, but I still feel like if it happened once...it COULD happen again....

My husband, on the other hand, is a weather freak and gets excited about tornado/storm warnings. No thanks.

Glad all turned out okay (for you at least!).

Thank God you're safe! Tornadoes are scary. I have vivid memories from childhood of huddling in the basement beneath the kitchen, certain the house would be destroyed. I remember the green sky.

Thanks for visiting over at my place! I was reading through a bunch of your posts and had to stop at this one to comment. One set of my in-laws live in Clarksville (go 101st) and my brother-in-law FREAKS out anytime there are tornados there. Remember a few years ago when a teacher was killed by a tornado? Yup, that was his teacher. Poor guy didn't even mention the recent tornados when I emailed him that day.
