Keeghan can be throwing a royal FIT
Ever since Kennedy could talk she has called wipes "weeps". I'm not sure why exactly since she will say the I in "I love you" and "bite" correctly, but "weeps" it has always been. I thought maybe tonight I would correct this. Here's how our conversation went:
Kenn: I wanna weep?
Me: You want a wIpe?
Kenn: YEAH!!! A weep!
Me: Kennedy, can you say wIpe?
Kenn: Weep!!!
Me: Kennedy say I...
Kenn: Love you too!
Me: No Kenn, say I
Kenn: I
Me: wIIIIIIIIIIIIIpe!
Kenn: wEEEEEEEEEEp!
Me: *sigh*
Kenn: (holding out her hands) Gimme!
Me: Say wIpe
Kenn: Weep!
Me: (resigned) Here you go.
Kenn: YAY WEEP!!!!
And now she's using it as a blanket for her Groovy Girls. Another day, another battle lost.

I laughed out loud at your conversation. She is such a ham! Ashlyn is infatuated with wipes too, she cleans everything with them!
I don't think of that as a battle lost. That was an awesome conversation! Can't wait to see you guys next month!
HA! At least she's confident. ;)
Chelsea loves the wipes too, except she eats them! She could suck on a wipe all day! And hey, I'd just be thrilled to get weep at this point!!! Hooray for Kenn!
So funny!
I can remember similar conversations between my parents and Janice when she was little. :)
Yes, my kids have all enjoyed wipes for both cleaning and eating!! I love how she said "Love you too" when you prompted her with "I"! Ha ha ha do they know what we want to hear or what, right?
I kept Gabi like an angel on a plane ride with a baggy full of wipes! And she uses them to cover her babies too!
HA HA!! Sounds like several conversations I had with Ryan over the letter L. They went something like," Ryan say la, la, la, la, lip."
His reply, "La, la,la, la, wip."
he would ask to sit in my wap, and would cry when he hurt his weg.
You will be happy to know that he will be 20 in July and can now say lip, lap, and leg without any problem!! :-)
