Once I got her into the light, I could see this:
It's actually a lot more purple than the picture shows and she can't open it any more than it is here... I tried to open it to see if her pupil and the whites of her eye was ok, but she freaked out. This is as far as she can get it open.
I called the doctor and he thinks she was bit by a spider. He said though that if it were a bad spider she would not be able to stand the pain... and she's back to sleep now. So I gave her Benadryl and he's going to call in the morning and check on her.
Poor kid, it's always something!
OK REALLY off to bed now... I think I'll keep Kennedy with me tonight to make sure she's ok!

Poor Miss Kennedy, I'm so sorry about her eye. I hope it's better by morning, never a dull moment! I'm still up wide awake from Wesley's dirty diaper 2 hours ago...I'll be tired in the morning. What would we do without kids??? I guess have money and time..LOL! I'd still take the kids!
Man girl, I go to bed early and this is what happens?! I hope she is ok today!(and I hope your throat is feeling better!)

WOW you have a busy house with 2 little ones, Keeghan sick and now Kennedy has a spider bite on her eye. That would hurt I been stung by BEEs a few times in my eye and boy not fun I would smell the flowers at my grandma's and the bees would come out of the flower, always going to my face and eye getting stuck behind my glasses. Yeah guess what you know running to my mommy and daddy crying and saying bee bite my eye and yes it happened a few times when i was little always smelling flowers and never listened about the bees would be in the flowers still to this date I love flowersand smelling them lol!
Poor Kennedy. I really hope the swelling has gone down some now and you do not have any more excitement. Please keep us updated on how Keeghan is feeling. Hoping you get some rest today.

I've been bitten like that before, and while it was annoying & I couldn't see well, it didn't hurt much. Hope hers doesn't hurt, either. (Mine was like that for my cousin's wedding, I had to hide from cameras all day - it really looked hideous)
Sweet girl. She probably just wanted to go back to sleep!
Poor Kennedy! That doesn't look like much fun at all. :(
