"You are the next person in line"
I called Keeghan's ENT at 1:00 this afternoon because I did something dumb and broke my baby had some concerns about his ears and wanted to make sure that he isn't going to hate me forever he is going to be ok, so I wanted to leave a message with the advice nurse. I sat on hold for what seemed like 100 hours about 35 minutes listening to a dumb recording saying, "You are the next person in line!" GRR FINALLY I got through, explained the situation and after they called CPS on me they told me a nurse would call me back. When I didn't receive a call by 5:00, I called again.

I was laughing out loud at this! I KNOW it's not funny to you right now at all, but I have so been there and the way you write about it is so humorous. I once took a hot bath, put on makeup, fixed my hair, got dressed, watched a movie, did some laundry, and fed my kid lunch before I finally gave up. What we have to go through with the medical crap!!!!! Love you, girl!
How strange is this internet thing that I have seen you in person one time, but feel like we have so much in common. I feel as though we would be great friends in the flesh (not just cyber buds).
Next time call from your cell phone as your driving there and see how you get the answer faster...they'd see you coming and lock the door..just kidding! Have you ever wondered how many calls they take in a day...at the rate Not many!!! Hope you got an answer,

Reminds me of that episode of Friends where Phoebe waits on hold for a warranty on an item for like 3 days and was being told the whole time how important her call was and that she was next in line! LOL! I hope you got through (and are not still sitting on hold) and they answered all your questions!
