The art of naming my kids (Part 2)

So I left off in this post telling you how Kassidy got her name. Not long after she was born I decided that I LOVED the name Kennedy for a little girl... and Kassidy and Kennedy flowed so well together! Frank agreed it was cute and so we decided that should we ever have another girl, her name would be Kennedy. More on her later.

When Kassidy was 14 months old we found out we were pregnant! I prayed HARD for another little girl because I "had no idea what to do with a boy." (Sometimes I STILL don't! haha) About 5 months into my pregnancy we found out that we were indeed, having a boy. I cried. It's ok, I'm over it now. ;) So the name debate began.

We had agreed that we would go with another K name, so at least we only had one section of the baby name book to look through! This made our job 25 times easier! haha Frank really liked the name Kobe. I really liked the name Kaleb. We went round and round. We polled our friends and family. Everyone was split 50/50 and we just couldn't decide.

About a month later Kassidy and I took a trip to Michigan to visit my grandmother. Frank stayed home to work. One night I had a dream where I was holding a baby boy named Kameron... AND it has SEVEN letters! Just like Kassidy!!! I was so excited to tell Frank about my idea when he called. The next day, Frank called me and before I could even get a word out he said, "Hey babe, how bout the name Kameron? We could spell that with a K." And thus Kameron Jack was named. (To be continued...)

I love all their names. I'm amazed that you were able to come up with four equally great K names with 7 letters. Amazing!

I love this story, their names are GREAT! I have some friends and they have 10 kids all starting with J and the middle is E, they have 5 girls and 5 boys. Blows my mind..that's not hard! All of our kids fisrt and middle names are family or from the Bible...guess that's why nobody can ever spell Rebekah?!

I am supposed to be taking a bloggy break, but I have a few I still check on daily. One being you!:) Love the pictures! The one that cracks me up the most is the one of Kennedy with the mad-looking face. Too Cute! Love the way you named your kids. Mine all start with C's. That's a story in itself. Have a wonderful day! Love and blessings to you!

Remembering all those who gave their lives for our country.
Still praying!
Psalms 28:6-8 Blessed be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications. The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. The LORD is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.

I just love how you guys chose the names! Terence liked the name Bianca - mostly because it means white in Italian and our surname is White. He wanted to name her Bianca Lily White (but I just put my foot down on that one) and then I wanted to call her Bianca MariƩ White (but somebody pointed out that would stand for BMW) - nah not good! So finally she was named Bianca Leigh White.

Caitlyn was called Caitlyn, because I've always loved the name Caitlyn and she became Caitlyn Anne White. Terence got to name Bianca and I got to name Caitlyn.
