Mercy! I can relate. My husband worked in Corona, CA for a year and I would visit for a couple of weeks at a time. Depending on the time of day it would take 30-40 minutes to creep 10 miles down the highway. I always loved coming back to Kansas City where I could drive the speed limit. What a luxury!
I hope to visit your blog again soon when I have more time. Nancy

Welcome!
Welcome to my blog where I take on day to day life with my five amazing children: Kassidy, Kameron, Kennedy, Keeghan & Kellsey, and a husband in the Military. Join us as we face issues with Down syndrome, Leukemia, Deployments, and every day life with 5 young kids! You'll be in for the ride of your life!
Really, what can I say about ME? I'm a Christian, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a granddaughter, a niece, a cousin, a friend.
My name is Renee, I am 33 years old, I am married to the Army... oh wait I mean I'm married to a Soldier, my hero. Same thing right? I am a misplaced Californian who lives in Colorado by way of Tennessee. I am a mini-van driving soccer mom... I always knew I would be! I am blessed to be able to stay home with my 5 amazing kids. Kassidy: my beautiful, too smart for her own good, funny, dramatic 12 year old who thinks she's already a teenager. Kameron: My high strung, incredibly intelligent, artistic, creative, silly, sometimes mysterious 10 year old comedian in training. My 8 year old diva, Kennedy: who will sometimes tell you she's Hannah Montana or iCarly or some other famous person. She's destined for the stars! Keeghan: my crazy, funny, silly, handsome 5 year old monkey who loves to ask me a million questions all day long; and our 5 year old magna doodle loving Ukrainian Princess Kellsey who's been with our family for just 2 years now. I'm so incredibly blessed.

I love that. I have never been there but I can imagine that traffic is annoying. And gas- don't even want to think about that!
LOL!!! Amen sister! I don't think that I have ever been on I91 though. Mine would be I5, Hwy 99, I580/680/780/880, and the lovely 405.
You miss the smog? Really? What's wrong with you? Oxygen is highly overrated! ;-)
Yeah, it is pretty bad around here.
the gas sign is my favorite. made me laugh :)
The traffic picture made me giggle. The entire wedding party was late to my brother's rehearsal off of PCH last year because of an accident on I-5

Oh the sweet memories! I think I'm still in that traffic jam....and I remember when that gas sign used to be funny....not true!

LOL I've seen that sign but with "Arm" "Leg" and "First Born" lol. :D
