A couple weeks ago my mom was going to come over here to watch the kids while I went and got my nails done. I asked Kassidy if she would like to go with me for a little "girl's night out" and get her nails painted too. I thought this would be some fun one on one time with my oldest daughter where we could hang out, talk, and do something she had never done before... So my darling daughter rolled her eyes and said, "Honestly, Mom, I think that's kind of stupid."
Fine then. I remember when I used to be too cool for my mom too. Haha

Oh no she's too young to be too cool for you Renee. They grow up too fast don't they? Natalie however would have been all over that whole manicure thing. Well, maybe not if she was going to miss hanging out with grandma to do it though. I hope you had a nice mom's night out anyways even if your oldest didn't want to join you.

That is freakin' hilarious...but only b/c I know my "cool" days are numbered with MY eight-year-old, sigh...
My oldest has been reminding me daily how OLD I am. I'm biding my time and waiting for grandkids. She's going to be soooo sorry.
BTW, I finally mailed those games today (along with some other items). Sorry it took me so long.
My girls definitely will NOT learn good nail habits from their mother. So their chances of thinking manis are cool seem a little higher now. ;)

That is WAAAY too cute! I remember those days too! Like the times my mom would say "Isn't this outfit cute?" and I would say "Nooo Mom .. GOSH!" Even though it really was cute!
