Kennedy vs. the marker

This is how Kennedy looked when I picked her up from school last week... She looks so proud of herself, doesn't she?! haha Fortunately her school uses washable markers!

All I can think Renee is I'm glad it's your child and not mine ;). Although that's pretty much how Kaitlyn looks on a daily basis when she's allowed to use markers.

There is hardly anything on her! You need my girls to teach her how to do it. Someday I will have to go thru the old pictures of when Cheyenne had over 100 red dots on her and people thought she had the measles!! lol

I want to send Crayola a personal thank you for washable markers. What would we do without them! K does look very proud of herself. Too cute!

Everyday Gabi has marker, paint, glue, glitter, lunch, you name it on her when she gets home. If that's all she did, then Kennedy did a great job!

I tend to measure the productivity of a day by the scum ring my kids leave around the tub. ;)

She looks adorable, and I'm glad she had a great day!

She's just so darn cute ya know! Kaia has marker on her pretty much every single day! I am so thankful for washable markers. One time though, I left her with my parents for 1/2 hour while I went to Nolan's school. I don't know what my parents were doing, but Kaia had found a black sharpie and had coloured ALL over her self.

I have a funny story. It's not really related but seeing Kennedy like this reminded me of it! Awhile back we picked MJ up from daycare. She had a bandaid on her cheek. When we walked in the room she rushed over exclaiming that she had an 'ashley boo-boo' and asking us to admire her bandaid. We all, of course, flooded her with kisses and hugs over this boo-boo and figured the other little girl named Ashley may have accidently caused it based on the 'ashley boo-boo' description. Then we actually looked at the class room. Every 3 year old in that room was covered in band-aids! and right in the center of them all was a little girl with a neck brace similiar to Kennedys. She also had a band-aid on her nose. I asked the teacher what had happened?! It seriously looked like the 3 year olds had been in a gang fight. She laughed and explained that Ashley had come into school that day with the brace. The other children all wanted to wear it and felt genuinely connected to Ash. The teacher asked them if they wanted to wear band-aids instead (just like the little one on Ashley's nose.) They all agreed and in support of ashley band-aided it up! It was adorable and MJ had the same look on her face as Kennedy does in this photo. Now, everytime we need to use a band-aid we shout "for Ashley!" and MJ wears them with pride.
