Today was the last time Kennedy will swim this summer... she loves it so much, so it's kind of sad... but at least she had a good time... and she got to swim with one of her most favorite people - Daddy! :)
The look of pure love on Frank's face in the first photo is priceless ! Kennedy is one tough, spuny and luckly little girl. I am praying for the surgery
The good thing is she doesn't have a clue what's going to happen...and did I tell you how much I love the pic of you and Frank?! Received this verse in an email today and thought it was interesting. Still here, still praying! Isaiah 25:4 For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
Love those pics. I just wanted you to know that July 2nd is a very auspicious day, in my opinion, as it's Sophie's birthday. We believe it means nothing but good things for the surgery. ;-} We are praying!!! ---Jen & Sophie
What great pics of your sweetie with her dad! I love the last shot and hey, next summer can she come teach Dom to swim with his legs behind him like a big boy? He looks like a frog when he 'swims'....prayers for your sweetheart tomorrow and always!
AWH! So cute! I will be there tomorrow! And I will bring Keeghan's floatie (SS) anything else you need?...do you know what time she heads in for surgery?
Hi Renee, I am a fellow military wife! I just wanted to let you know that we would be praying for your little sweetie! We used Shriners in Philly and totally trust them!! I just found out today that my littlest has AAI, too!! She'll be having several surgeries in the next few months!!
Aw so glad they had fun! Will be at my dad's tomorrow and may not be able to check in on Kennedy's big day but you can rest assured I will be praying. Good luck tomorrow!
I love the last phot...that is a COMMON face Ashton uses when he is signing "cold"!!!He has about 10 signs already! We are so proud of achievments for eing only 23 months old!

Welcome!
Welcome to my blog where I take on day to day life with my five amazing children: Kassidy, Kameron, Kennedy, Keeghan & Kellsey, and a husband in the Military. Join us as we face issues with Down syndrome, Leukemia, Deployments, and every day life with 5 young kids! You'll be in for the ride of your life!
Really, what can I say about ME? I'm a Christian, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a granddaughter, a niece, a cousin, a friend.
My name is Renee, I am 33 years old, I am married to the Army... oh wait I mean I'm married to a Soldier, my hero. Same thing right? I am a misplaced Californian who lives in Colorado by way of Tennessee. I am a mini-van driving soccer mom... I always knew I would be! I am blessed to be able to stay home with my 5 amazing kids. Kassidy: my beautiful, too smart for her own good, funny, dramatic 12 year old who thinks she's already a teenager. Kameron: My high strung, incredibly intelligent, artistic, creative, silly, sometimes mysterious 10 year old comedian in training. My 8 year old diva, Kennedy: who will sometimes tell you she's Hannah Montana or iCarly or some other famous person. She's destined for the stars! Keeghan: my crazy, funny, silly, handsome 5 year old monkey who loves to ask me a million questions all day long; and our 5 year old magna doodle loving Ukrainian Princess Kellsey who's been with our family for just 2 years now. I'm so incredibly blessed.
