Well I had been battling a migraine for the last few days and it finally got the best of me yesterday, so my wonderful mom drove me to the hospital where I got a shot of demerol. She took over the kids and I've been sleeping and sleeping and sleeping... and now I'm a little groggy, but my headache is GONE! For those of you out there who don't suffer from migraines, feel VERY, VERY grateful!
Also, I have an address for Gary Linfoot if anyone would like to send cards or anything. Email me and I will give it to you. I don't know much more about his status right now.
AND How could I forget to mention my friend Lynn when I was mentioning large families?! She's the amazing mom of 6 and grandma to more and Caringbridge mom to HUNDREDS! Watch for her at a caringbridge page near you. :)
OK off to zone out until bed time.

Feel better soon Renee. I do get migraines, but never that bad. What a relief that your mom is around to take the kids for you. Think she might want to come help me out with my kids, hehehehehe?
Glad you're felling better!
Glad your feeling better! I know the deal with migraines, too! I am praying you stay strong and healthy before you have to fly Philly. Love you!
I'm so sorry to hear about your migraines. Paul, my hubby, gets migraines, too. They seem to be daily now and the migraine meds (otc) are beginning to not work and lose their effectiveness.
**hugs**
I wish i could say I know what you are going through but I can't...Thankfully! I do feel bgad for those that have to endure the pain I have heard it's a B!!
About Carters 15 minutes I think he likes the special attention he is getting. We had a get together yesterday and everyone kept telling him "I saw you in the paper." He is so cute though, My hubby will say out loud "If you are a celebrity raise your hand!" His goes straight up.
Renee,
I can sympathize with you on the migraines. I get them every month. Seems as though I have anywhere from 4 to 10 and sometimes more migraines every month and most of the time they run all at about the same time. (I do take Topamax on a daily basis, as well as Imitrex when I feel a migraine coming on.) I pray that you get over your migraine soon and that you don't have anymore anytime soon. Praying for much needed rest and relief before your trip to Philly ~ and for Kennedy's surgery to as smoothly as possible.
I am so glad that you are feeling better! Your mom is an amazing woman. She sounds like she wears a super mom cape like you do. Enjoy zoning out tonight. =)
Hope you get to feeling better soon. I never got migraines until the day I turned 37, which also was Mercede's 16th birthday. Needless to say, it was not a good birthday for either of us. I had them off and on for a while after that and found out it was my blood pressure causing them. Haven't had one for a while, thank the lord! Course if I do get one again, maybe that will make me get back to taking my bp meds!lol But I am fortunate that they know the cause of mine.
hugs and prayers
You have an incrediable life. I am looking forward to getting to know you more. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
♡ I get migranes too! So not fun! I'm glad it's better now! How nice that your mom is so close! :)
Well that's why you forgot...you had a migraine! What were you doing updating the page when you were in such pain?! You've GOT to take care of yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now is there anyway to PREVENT them in the first place?!
Hi Renee,
Thanks for stopping by my Blog again. I didn't know you had ties to Michigan! Nice!
I am very grateful that I don't suffer from Migraines. My sister does though. I recently visited her in NJ and she had a migraine the whole time I was there. I don't understand how she could have these and I don't. Lucky, I guess.
I hope you can keep the migraine away as you await Kennedy's surgery. As always, I will be keeping the SpecialK's in my thoughts and prayers.
Ugh, glad you have the migraine behind you. I know all too well what those are like. I have been through every prescriptive migraine med available and nothing really works for me. I get about four a month each lasting 3 days. I will definitely add your migraines to my prayers for philly. Migraine pain clouds everything!
