Update on Soldier Gary Linfoot

From his wife, Mari:
Gary Linfoot had surgery in Germany today. Things went well. They stabilized his back with rods and screws and were able to get the large bone off the spinal cord. The plan is to fly him to Walter Reed on Tuesday. I will meet him there.
Gary has a long recovery ahead of him with months of rehab. The Dr. said "It is reasonable to believe he will walk again".
Yesterday, our lives changed forever. We will accept what God plans for our "new normal" and we will make the best of it.
Thank you all so very much for your love and concern and most importantly, your prayers.

What a relief. They must be so happy to be having him come home too. Hopefully he has a full recovery.

I will continue to keep this family in my prayers.

Also, please apologize to your hubby for me, I did not get those games to the post office last week as promised. This week is going to be slower and I hope to get it done toward the end of the week. Is there anything else I can put in there that he might like? Snacks or toiletries? What travels well?
