So we totally missed seeing this one on TV... We were out eating Ritas! haha This one is much better and shows lots more of Kennedy and you can see her doctor too! :) Enjoy!
You can also see a video and read the story on ABC's Website and leave comments there and everything! :)
Thanks again Steph for getting this online for me and thanks to Stephanie at Shriner's for setting this all up!
You are SUCH a Rita's addict, lol! And I take full responsibility for it!
Interview was great in full...fly safe tomorrow (prayers for Keeghan), and I'll hopefully see you when you guys come back up in September.
Ben and I talked about it, and I'm in for the Disney marathon in January...we'll talk soon, as I'll need some non-watermarked pics for my fundraising, lol.
Frank, I'm so honored I got the chance to meet and get to know you a little bit. Thanks for taking such good care of your family (they're all super special) and for serving our country. Don't forget to take back your Phillies hat before you leave, lol.
Renee, thanks for allowing a complete stranger and potential nutjob to infiltrate your family with my bratty kids, lol. You are even more amazing in person than you are online, and I am honored to call you a friend.
that was a much nicer done story than the fox one :) Kennedy looks like she's adjusted really well to the halo. Praying you guys (and Frank!) have safe travels.
That was a great interview. Much better than Fox one. Not that the fox one was bad, jsut that they didn't show very much! It's so funny to hear the people that I watch one the news every night talk about Kennedy!
How cool is that! You all looked fabulous! Thanks for sharing the video.
I haven't had a lot of time to go back and read your archives, therefore I wasn't aware that Daddy was in the military. Thank him for us; I appreciate his courage and bravery.
You are beautiful, Renee! Kennedy is a feisty fighter. Pushing the Dr. away was hilarious! Know I am continuing to pray for her full recovery, the area around the pins to heal, Frank's travel abroad, and your travels home to Tennessee. Especially for Keeghan! Maybe give him some Benadryl before the flight. Love ya! :)
Awesome!! Prayers for safe return for everyone tomorrow! The weather here in KY/TN has been much better the last few days so I think you will enjoy it when you get back!
I loved the ABC interview! Prayers that everyone arrives at their destinations without any problems. Prayers for Kennedy's skin. Prayers, prayers, prayers!
That was a great interview! I loved it when Kennedy put her arm out to stop the doctor. You are an incredible family! How frustrating to have to deal with those pins! Ughhh! We keep up on Kennedy's progress and will continue to keep you all in our prayers. Safe travels to you all.
That was fantastic! I thought it was MUCH better than the Fox interview. You guys did great. So, how's it feel to be famous? lol Take care and God bless!
Renee.. that was great! You speak so eloquently! (don't even know if I spelled that right!) So glad I got to hear you talk and see more of you and Frank and Kennedy!
Great interview! I was so excited to watch it. What a beautiful family you have. I'm so sorry we didn't get a chance to meet. I'm glad you are home safe and sound.
I stumbled across your blog today and that video was precious. I was crying while watching it. You're one strong mommy & wife, Renee. Thank you to Frank for all he does. Kennedy sure is a little trooper & fighter! I hope all goes well for her halo removal.

Welcome!
Welcome to my blog where I take on day to day life with my five amazing children: Kassidy, Kameron, Kennedy, Keeghan & Kellsey, and a husband in the Military. Join us as we face issues with Down syndrome, Leukemia, Deployments, and every day life with 5 young kids! You'll be in for the ride of your life!
My name is Renee, I am 34 years old, I am married to the Army... oh wait I mean I'm married to a Soldier, my hero. Same thing right? I am a misplaced Californian who lives in Colorado by way of Tennessee. I am a mini-van driving soccer mom... I always knew I would be! I am blessed to be able to stay home with my 5 amazing kids. Kassidy: my beautiful, too smart for her own good, funny, dramatic 13 year old who is starting her teen years with grace. Kameron: My high strung, smart, artistic, creative, silly, sometimes mysterious 11 year old who loves musical theater and acting. My 8 year old diva, Kennedy: who will most often be found dancing or dreaming of Justin Bieber. She's destined for the stars! Keeghan: my crazy, funny, silly, handsome 5 year old monkey who loves to ask me a million questions all day long; and our 6 year old Ukrainian Princess Kellsey who is finding her way in the world as she battles Reactive Attachment Disorder. Our goal for her is to make sure she knows she is always loved, wherever that may take her... I'm so incredibly blessed.
