Sincess Kennedy!Last night the kids were downstairs playing and watching cartoons when I called them up (at 9:00) to get ready for bed. Kassidy turned off the TV and Kennedy immediately started crying. She's usually very "go with the flow" so at first I was worried that she was hurt.
She came up the stairs with a pout on her lips and tears in her eyes and said, "I wanna watch TV!"
"No Kennedy," I said, "It's bedtime now. You can watch TV tomorrow."
"Noooooo watch TV now!" *sob* *sob* *pout*
"Kennedy you need to lie down so I can change your diaper."
(As I'm changing her diaper) "I wanna go downstairs." *sob* *sob*
"Kennedy, it's BED time now, come give mommy a kiss."
She heads up the stairs (pouting) and says, "No. Going bed now."
So I follow her to her room and pick her up, "Can I PLEASE have a kiss?"
"No." And she puts her hand over my mouth and says, "Be quiet." *pout*
WHAT? My 4 year old just told me to be quiet! LOL *sigh*
"OK, Kennedy, good night. I love you."
She rolls over pulls her blanket up and grunts at me. As I walk out the door I hear:
"I wanna watch TV." *sob*
She was fast asleep in less than 5 minutes. I'm thinking she was REALLY tired! LOL

OMG! I am laughing so hard! I'm laughing because this is exactly what I see my little princess doing in the not so distant future! She's already good at throwing a temper tantrum when she doesn't get her way! LOL!! Kennedy is so stinkin' cute and gets the award for cutest and bravest princess too! :D
What a cute story! I think you are right and she was just overtired!
You are not alone. And I can relate to the overtired thing.... the more tired, the more complex the tantrum. :) My three-year old recently told me she didn't want parents, just Callie (older sister) and kids (her and 5-yr old brother). This was because she did not want to brush her teeth because she was "too tired". :)
Too cute!! Wait til she becomes a teen drama queen!! lol
jajajajajajajaja... si, yo también he pasado por situaciones similares..:) mi niña de 2 años y medio me dice: "no quero a mama..." cuando la regaño...
Premio para Kennedy!!!
Hahahaha, what a sassy little girl. Well, hopefully she's in a better mood today and got to watch some TV ;).

She is just too cute! Absolutely adorable! I am laughing. I love the little outfits you are putting on her. They are adorable! Hang in there!
did you spy on my family and change the names? hehe
Kennedy reminds me so much of my Kelly at that age! Kelly (15 with DS)is now THE Teen Drama Queen!
Goodness, such a smarty! She talks better than my 7 year old! I know she was slightly naughty, but I just wanted to hug her. :o)
Very funny. My oldest, who has given me many similar protests, has been known to fall asleep while climbing into bed after declaring that he IS NOT SLEEPY!
Kennedy looks awesome, I love her polka dots! Does she climb the stairs okay with the halo? She seems to be getting around so well.
I just love her!! Did she poke you in the forhead like duh TV??? She looks so good and her hair is getting lighter again isn't it?? Give her some loving from us please!!
I love her outfit in the pic! It is really cute. I love Sincess Kennedy stories! They are the best!

I love love love the photo of Kennedy. That little polka dot shirt and her hammy smile. That girl is a heartbreaker!
HEHE, shes cute, love the pose:))
When my daughter was little , when she cried and threw the loudest hissy fits was when she was the most tired. Now that she talks and argues back, we still know the signa that she is exhausted, lol.
Poor little thing! I think when kids are sooo tired like that, all bets are off on any semblance of common sense!
How cute lol!
Oh her hair is growing in nicely and she looks so much healthier right now. :D She's a beautiful girl!!!
I'm thinking that great spirit means she is doing pretty dang well.
Yippie!
I am laughing so hard that my eyes are watering! The picture is adorable, btw.
