My friend Tiffany sent me this article the other day about a woman named Alicia Garcia who lives here in TN. Alicia was at work when her husband came and shot her several times before finally shooting himself. He died, but Alicia amazingly survived injuries that should have paralyzed her, or worse. She said that her inspiration is her 2 sons, ages 5 and 3. Alicia is now recovering and wearing a halo very similar to Kennedy's for the next 12 weeks. Please keep her in your prayers as she recovers and pray for her young sons as they try to process what has happened.
