I almost updated around 2am to let you know that Kennedy's fever broke! She hovered around 99/100 all night, but it was definitely better than before. This morning, however, she is back up over 101. They are bringing in more Tylenol now. She is also in quite a bit of pain from her hip still.
A few of you have asked about Motrin which she cannot have so soon post-op due to risk of bleeding. It definitely would be better to get her temp down, but the risks outweigh the benefits at this point.
I've been told OT and PT will be in today to get her up into a chair. They went so far as to raise the bed yesterday but there was no way she could tolerate more than that. I'm hoping she'll be ok to do it today.
So, there are a couple things to be praying for. Thank you all so much for your prayers thus far. We can feel them all the time and we are so humbled to know that so many people are bringing Kennedy and our family before God. He has great things planned for this "Sincess", I just know it!

Keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers, Renee! Lots of hugs to Kennedy from Elliot.
Oh just the though of her sitting in a chair sounds so painful! I hope she is up to it. Praying for the pain and fever to subside!
Praying, Praying, Praying that is what we are doing! God has you surrounded by so many wonderful people and our job out here is to continue to lift you high. We love ya.

The Lord does have great things for her indeed! Praying for pain relief.
That was nice of Dr. Betz to bring Wil up with you. I spoke with him on the phone earlier in the week and he seemed every bit as compassionate as I imagined.
I think it is wonderful that you are journaling/blogging all of this!! But those pictures of her in the halo - just make me so sad!!! Know that we are still praying and thinking of you constantly (even if we don't comment on every update!!!)
Kennedy is in my prayers. I hope her fever comes down soon.
I hope she gets better and better with each passing day!
