When Sincess Kennedy woke up from her afternoon nap, she decided that she wanted to eat the royal macaroni and cheese. It didn't matter that we
So like any true princess, her prince (aka Daddy)
As it turns out, this "cheese" gave Sincess Kennedy super strength because after she ate, she sat up on her bed and played with her toys for awhile and kept her balance just beautifully.
Then we decided the princess should go for a walk, so we put on her royal slippers and Sincess Kennedy walked with much assistance out to the hallway where she received some candy for her job well done. Sincess Kennedy then decided that she would like to go to the playroom and said, "Let's get TOYS!" So she walked and walked, while she was supported from the front and the back, until she got to the playroom and spotted her royal chariot. Against the pleas of the common folk (aka Mommy), Sincess Kennedy decided to drive through her kingdom and grace her subjects with her presence. She made a royal declaration that with lots of prayer and King Jesus at her side, nothing can keep a good princess down.
And she lived happily ever after.
The End.

Beautiful! She looks 110% better! I'm so glad. Onward to better days!
Awww what a great story and look at her go. Hey if mac n cheese has those kinds of powers then I say stock up on that stuff for her ;). Look at her go and go. Seems like she's having a pretty good day. I think it's okay to indulge her like that when she's working so hard ;).
Wow, that is so amazing to see her up and about already! Let the Sincess have more Royal Cheese - she deserves it. Your attitude through all this is so inspiring. You're a wonderful Queen Mother!
Yeah for Sincess Kennedy. It's great to see her smiling! And yeah for the prince, there's nothing like good "cheese". :)
She looks AMAZING!!! And everyone should receive the royal treatment - especially given what she has endured!!
Great post!!!!
love the story!
Question for you... How hard is it to dress Kennedy? Obviously the Halo around her head stays where it is, but what about the vest part?

I am a faithful lurker here, Renee, and have been following Kennedy's story, praying for her, and enjoying her pictures. That first picture of her following her surgery brought tears to my eyes ... but his post brought a huge smile to my face. Your daughter is a strong, amazing, resilient little girl. Thank you SO much for sharing her story.
Michelle
So good to see a smile on her face! She is looking so much better already!
That was a very cute story. She looks so happy! It must be the "cheese!" The pain control must be getting better with a smile like that.
Shall I bring mac and cheese tomorrow night, lol?
She looks awesome!
Can't wait to see you guys!
Hugs,
Jen

Love the way you write Renee !!
And it's great to see the smile on Kennedy's face !!!
She looks great, Renee! So good to see her up and smiling. Mac and cheese cures all ills and she knows it. By the end of the six months you will all be so wrapped around her little finger they'll have to surgically remove you when they remove the halo!!!
Hail Sincess Kennedy!
Ann Bremer

We are grinning ear-to-ear way out here in Seattle...Sincess Kennedy knows how to rule a kingdom! It's wonderful to see her go-go-going. Makes me a believer in the power of mac and cheese!
My Emma (she's 6) wants to come visit Kennedy in the hospital - she sees her pictures and calls her "the cute girl." That cute girl won't be far from our thoughts, and will stay in our prayers.
My daughter has lived on Mac and cheese for 15 years and shes strong so im thinking it does have super powers!!! LOL
OMG Kennedy looks amazing!!! Kids are rocks and to think I was a kid once..huh?!

Robyn(downsyn, also from Nashville)
How wonderful!!!!
Go sincess!
It is so great to see and hear how well Kennedy is doing. She truly is an inspiration to everyone with her strength and abililty to show the world how to recover with princess dignity :)
Boy, Kennedy sure looks great! I remember when my daughter had to have kidney surgery when she was four years old. The day she decided she wanted to live again (about 4 days after surgery) she pulled it together to walk down the hall, carrying her drain in her hand, IV pole behind us. I know people thought she looked pitiful but I was so thrilled! I knew what she'd been through! You and Kennedy have been through so much, and I can tell she's just doing great! Carolyn
Would you look at the number of comments? A sure sign that this Little Princess has MANY loyal, faithful followers that love her to pieces. I had no doubt that Kennedy would come shining through ,as only Kennedy can!
What a winning team!!! King Jesus, Princess Kennedy, her prince, her lady-in-waiting (I think that fits you much better than "common folk") and all the rest of the common folk surrounding her!! She looks regal riding her royal chariot! :)
She's as precious as ever!!
Totally made a pregnant, emotional woman cry! Such a great post. Glad she is feeling better, but hope they figure out what is up with the fevers soon. How is her bowel movement situation?
Kim Porter
Thank you sincess for granting us, your lowly subjects, your beautiful smile. Get better quickly!

Beautiful post, Renee! All hail the powers of Mac & Cheese (I'm sure God was working through them, though). I will continue to pray for Kennedy. She's a sweetie and you are an amazing mother!
Hi Renee. What's that green "knob" looking thing on the front of her vest, towards the bottom? Is that supposed to help adjust it or something? Thanks.
Amanda
Yeah Sincess Kennedy! We're so proud of you. Tiana & her family send their hugs & kisses! XOXO
Once again - Sincess Kennedy is amazing! So glad she got her "cheese"! WTG Kennedy!
Thank goodness for our princes (daddies). I remember the days of steriods when I was craving everything, except the things in our kitchen. Daddies are the best. I'm so glad that our sweet princess is balancing and walking good. WE need to go to lunch when you guys get back in town.
I must agree with Christina, that's my FAVORITE post yet. I believe we would all fall at the feet of Sincess Kennedy! Love and hugs...most of all prayers!!!
God is so good. I pray that your day is filled with more successes for your family and that Kennedy's recovery provokes faith in every "medical" doctor that examines her, sees her defying the wordly odds once again. Bless you all! ~Shanna Marshall
