OK so we still have several hours to go, but I just talked to Dr. Betz and he said everything is going really well. He said that the few issues they were concerned about with the screws have worked out just fine and the screws are in nice and tight. Right now they are working on the plates and then they will be taking bone from her hip to put in her spine. They are hoping about 4 more hours will do it. Thanks to everyone who has been continuously checking in. I know it's been a long day!

Yay for good news!!! We've been thinking of you all, all day long! Had to check in first thing when we got home! Continued prayers for Kennedy and the surgeons and especially you mommy! Big hugs!
