I got a phone call from the kids' school nurse today and she had Kassidy in her office with a fever and a sore throat. We're what? 2 weeks into the school year?! SO I picked her up, checked Kam out too, and took her in for a strep test. Sure enough, it was positive. I told them they may as well test Kameron too, because if Kassidy has strep, so does Kam. It doesn't matter that he has NO symptoms, he never does.
They decided to go ahead and test Kam, Kenn and Keeghan. Kam has strep too. Shocker. The little two don't have it, thank goodness, but their ped decided to treat all 4 of them since strep always runs rampant through our family.
I've been ignoring my own sore throat for a couple days now. I figured I was just getting Kenn and Keeghan's cold, and I knew it couldn't be strep because I only get it when the kids do. HA! If I'm not better by Monday I'll try to get into the doctor. I haven't been in for myself since 6 weeks after Keeghan was born!
Anyway, that's about it. Pray Kass feels better soon, she's pretty miserable right now.

I wish I lived closer, I would take your kids for a weekend so you could relax or sleep or read a book or anything except be an on call mom 24/7. Hugs and Prayers. When does Frank come home for good?
I hope your sweeties are feeling ALOT better VERY soon!! Isn't it miserable when the kiddos are sick? You feel so helpless. You take care of yourself too!
So sorry to hear that the kids have strep. I know that is really tough on you all. Know that I am praying for a quick recovery for you all.
I'll be praying for all of you to get better very soon!!!

Do you have your own parking spot at the doctor's office, hahahahaha? You must feel like you are always there. I hope everyone gets better soon. Kam, that darn carrier ;).
Poor Sweeties! Their in my thoughts. Also, I got your comment on my blog and I was referring to my chilren arguing with me. Have any ideas still? :)
Your always in my prayers :) Get to the Dr girlfriend. I so know where your coming from though. I have suspected for a few weeks that I have a UTF but still have not gone. Too much going on (mom had surgery and a close friends Mom died from the ugly C) but I have to smarten up. If we are not well we won't be any good for those that need us. Many Hugs!

Man.........the timing stinks. Well, maybe this will get it over and done with before winter sets in. (I always hated when my kids were sick and stuck inside with windows shut during the cold). Hope they all get better soon.
You might try just calling your doctor and telling them you are sick and you have already had 2 positive strep tests from your kids. They might call you in something so you don't have to go in?
Strep is awful! I hope you all start feeling better!
