Angel Hope

Hope Violet Fimiani
August 28, 2006 - October 13, 2008

Another sweet little angel gone to heaven because of cancer! Hope Fimiani was just barely 2 years old and had fought Leukemia since April of this year. Like Kennedy, Hope had Down syndrome... that little something extra that's supposed to help our kids beat cancer... sometimes it doesn't help. *sigh* Please keep Hope's parents, Anthony and Dyana and her big sister, Juliana in your prayers as they are forced to start their life without Hope in it. You can click on Hope's name above to read more about her, see more beautiful pictures, and sign her guestbook. Fly high beautiful girl. We're so glad you'll never know the pain of cancer again.

Carey over at Dream Big just announced another little one getting her wings as well. She also had cancer. That is two precious babies this week. Your right, Cancer sucks. My heart goes out to these families for their loss.
Thanks for sharing Hope's story so I can pray for them.

I'm so sick of the "c word"...so tired of it hurting our kids, and making them suffer...and cutting their lives so, so short! Peace be with beautiful Hope's family...no parent should have to watch helplessly as their child suffers; no parent should ever have to bear a day with their child gone. I really have no consoling words...nothing can help right now, nothing can take the pain away, but know people care and, like I, wish they could make things okay.

Fly high butterfly, dance with Jesus in the sky...As every day goes by and by, we ask the Lord why oh why...Why an angel had to die.

We know that death is not a period,
But a comma in the journey Home
We will see you again someday,
Until then, in Heaven you roam.

Send kisses and hugs to Riley for me, okay? He's a really cool kid...you'll like him a lot!

My Three Kids:
I pray for the day only two die a week! Right now it's about 7 every single day from cancer...we will fight until it's down to 0...not a day, not a week, not per year, but forever!

I came to your blog to ask if you'd heard of a particular cancer organization and found this post. My heart breaks for this family. Here is the link I wanted to share with you: http://www.cookiesforkidscancer.org

Thank you for posting about Hope. They live just a short distance from me & after reading her obituary just this morning I cried for the loss her family is now feeling. I left condolences on their page & will continue to always pray for your "special K's" as well:)

Believing there will someday be a cure,
Jacque

Thank you Renee and everyone! I personally have spent a lot of time with Hope and her family over the last few months. I saw her through most of her journey through cancer (May to August). I am so touched that people miles away are praying. She truly was an angel, and the end of her days were very hard for her. Thankfully God called her up in a very restul and peaceful manner. The sparkle in her eyes never diminished until the last breath, I know HOPE has touched me in ways I cannot even describe. I realize her obituary and biography on MeM is very vague. Her carepage is still active for those of you who wish to know more about her journey to Heaven (Babyhope2008)

Thank you very much for praying for her family, every little bit helps!

Our Angel found her wings, but will never leave our hearts!

I just don't understand... the world is going to be a lot darker without her smile, but Heaven will be a lot brighter. Praying for her family.

I have a sister named Hope...

What a sweet face! So sad to think of our world without it. Praying for her family. I can't imagine what they must be going through. Hope they are finding some peace in knowing their child is out of pain and in God's arms.
