Sick sick sick
The stomach flu has struck our house. I got it last night, just all of the sudden, and Kassidy started throwing up this morning. Now we're just waiting for the rest of the kids to get it. Why do things like this always happen when my mom goes out of town?! Anyway, I won't be around blogland much today, but I'll catch up soon.

I really hope on one else gets the flu and hope that K is feeling better soon. Also , thank you for commenting on my blog...I absolutely loved the D is for Down's Syndrome video...I really did not know that you had made it, what a great job you did...I can't get through the first few pictures without crying and by the middle I an absolutely bawling my eyes out... William likes to look at it with me to see all of the babies. (How was that for a run-on sentence LOL
Oh no, that went through our house about a week and a half ago. Luckily no one really had it at the same time and it was a short lived thing thankfully, but it's never easy when mom gets sick. I hope you can manage to keep it away from the rest of them. Especially the little ones because it's worse when they have it and don't know to go to the toilet or anything. Lots of extra laundry to wash.

having a son with medical problems, I know how much of your time and energy is taken with that, then to add more children, I also know what thats all about, then to add the flu and a husband who is off defending our country (thanks again for that ) I dont know how you do it. Hugs and Prayers

Sorry, but I must say, I'm so glad you didn't come to Nashville yesterday!!! :) What a crappy way to spend fall break.

I went back and read through many of your posts about VCH. That place has such a special place in my heart now, as it does yours. I was wondering what nurses you have had that you loved? We had several really good ones in the PCICU and on the sixth floor.

I'll be praying that you all get better soon and no one else catches it. Never good when mommy gets sick. Currently hubby is sick so we're keeping him away from Addie...which really is hard for him, until he's better so she stays germ-free until her surgery next week! Lots of fluids! =)

Passing the germs around is a vicious cycle! So sorry to hear that you are sick. Try and get some rest (if you can!) so you can all get back to feeling better!

Goodness, Renee. I know you said the kids were bored, but couldn't you come up with something other than the stomach flu to keep them entertained over fall break! LOL Hope you and Kassidy are better and praying that the other 3 don't get it.
OH UGH. UGH UGH UGH. Hope it was the super quick kind and that miraculously no one else got it... my dad, sisters, stepmom, brother-in-law, EVERYBODY got the WORST stomach bug last winter and amazingly none of us got it!! Well, Aidan did throw up on Christmas morning, come to think of it, but that was another time.
