I have a really cute one of my kids from a few weeks ago that I would use.
I have no idea...art is not something I generally spend money on. It would depend on the size, I guess.
Thanks Renee and Lu! Hope I win!
Picture of my girls.
Willing to pay around $150.00 depending on size.
My goddaughter (and if it's here in time it would be her mums christmas present)
Price thats a toughy! I think about £25-35 (i think thats about $35-50) I guess it would depend on size and shipping cost because I'm in the UK. However those pictures are fab so I'd consider a little extra if it was in my budget
I would use one of Raeleigh's 2 year pics or I would go take a new one :) They are my favorite!
Hmm...price...it would definitely depend on the size. I like 16x20 pictures so I guess for that size she should charge no less than $100if it was going to be printed out.
Those are beautiful! What a wonderful person Lu is for doing this and donating a second one for a giveaway :) I would love to do a picture of a landscape of Virginia but may succumb to a pic of the little man we took a few years back...decisions, my answer most likely will change if I win :) I would probably pay between $35-60, depending on size, format, etc. I'll post up later after I've blogged....
Ok...count me in again!! I posted the link on my blog! I REALLY want to win!!!
I really love K's picture. I dont know how to post this site on my blog, but would if I could. I think I would use a pict of all of my kids or if there is a limit I would probably have one of William....he is going to be in a wedding this spring and I can't wait to see him in a tux. I dont know how much I would pay, it would depend on the size.
Beautiful Picture!!
I would get a picture of Josie and her "soon to be" younger brother Jacob, both with Down syndrome.
I would say depending on the number in the picture, she shouldn't charge any less than $100 for them.
I would do a picture of my daughter (10 mo). Depends on the size, but anywhere from 50-200!
I would have one done of my baby girl.
I never have any extra money, but if I did...I would certainly say that is worth $75-$100.
Rachel
I would use the not yet taken but going to be very cute picture of our family in front of the Christmas tree at my parents house.
I would pay between $60-$80 unframed.
Ok I posted it on my blog so enter me again! :)
Up on our blog too :)
Ooooh, sounds fun. I would probably use a picture of the three kids together. This would make for a cute gift. Lets see and for cost I'd say $75. How long does it take her to do this? I think that would have to be factored into the cost too though.
I would use a pic of all the kids from this summer.
Price... hard to say, depended on the size anywhere for 40-200...
I would use a picture of my baby boy of course! And for the amount.. like others are saying it depends on the size... maybe around $100
I would use a picture taken of my two children earlier this fall. It is of them walking together from behind. I love it!
Price would definately depend on the size and what it's printed on. I would say around $100, give or take a little!
-Allison
I would do a photo of my 4 kids -
Depending on the size of the print $60-$100.
They are beautiful!
Kristina
OHIO
I'd do a picture of my dog, whom we lost earlier this week.
I'd say $60 for a small photo, and up to $180 for med-large size.
The pics of Kennedy are beautiful. I'd love to have one of my son Manuel. I have so many adorable pics that would look great painted.
I definitely think that the size of the picture and the number of people in the picture should determine the price. I'd guess the average should be about $100.
Thanks for the opportunity! :)
I am so excited about this giveaway!! I would use my little 20 month old nieces picture!! I have some pretty darn cute pictures, so I'm going excited! I would pay, probably around $50. That sounds about right. Thanks!!!
Amanda R.
Hey Renee! I just posted a link on my blog. Thanks!!
Amanda R.
I just had a photo taken of all 5 kids (for the first time), and I would definately use that one. As for price, I have no clue. I am absolutely useless when judging what something is worth.
I would use a sweet picture of my little Wade.
I paid 65.00 for a 16x20 painted canvas with his name on it and this is more personal so I say 100.00 for a 16x20.
I entered a post about this on myblog, with my version of a link!! Hopefully you will count it, since it's all I know how to do!
Enter me twice! http://jmwgreene.blogspot.com/
And pick me to win!
I would have a picture of my 3 kids done. I have no idea what I would pay for something like that. I'm kind of poor, so I don't normally go shopping for things like this. I could only hope to win it. ;)
I would have her do a picture of my youngest son, Joshua.
If she starts a business, I think there should be a price range depending on how many people are in the picture. A picture with my 7 children should cost more than a picture with just 1 child because the time invested would be greater.
I would expect to pay anywhere from $50 to $250 for such a sketch, depending on size & number of people in the sketch.
THE ONE OF YOUR LITTLE KENNEDY IS JUST SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! I WOULD PAY ANYWHERE BETWEEN $50 AND $250 DEPENDING ON SIZE. I JUST GOT A PICTURE OF BRAEDEN IN THE LEAVES AND ITS SO ADORABLE, I WOULD USE THAT ONE!! THANKS SO MUCH!!!
What would be cool is if she could mix/blend 3 pictures together so I could get great smiles from all 3 of my kids at the same time.
Price -- I have no idea. I am out of touch with the real world. I also have absolutely no idea as to how much labor it would take. I think in terms of cost-per-hour + cost of materials.
Who's picture? I have no idea! I have so many pictures, it'd be hard to pick just one. If I win, I'll make my husband pick the picture!
How much would I pay? If it's actually printed out on a canvas, I'd think around $100(16x20). If she's just going to do all the editing and then send the file to people for them to print them off themselves, then I'd say between $25-40, depending on the size and detail involved.
OK, I posted the link to the contest on my blog!
the painting of your daughter turned out very nicely. I like the muted/softness to the look. oh gracious as to what I'd pay..it really depends upon the size, the time involved and what it is printed on.
8 by 10 around $25-$30 if she actually paints on them.
I'd probably choose a photo of my children.
I would get one of my three little girls with Ds together. I would love to have them put before a different background.
I would pay $250 for a painting if it was at least 12X16. More if larger.
I would probably use one of Jeff's and my engagement portraits
I'd probably pay about $50 for an 8x10 unframed. More if it were bigger.
I would use a pic of my boys and husband all dressed in ACU's we had taken a couple years ago.
Depending on the size anywhere from $50-$200 (going from 8x10 and up..)
I posted about your giveaway on my blog :)
I would totally buy a painting like those! And definitely, one of Ruby :)
I would use it for my friend Amy.
Her husband died in Iraq just over a month ago. I took a picture of her and her four children as a gift for him. We were going to take a family picture when he came home in just a few months.
She asked me to photoshop him into the picture of her and their children. I would ask Lu to paint that when it's finished being photoshopped.
That turned out so awesome!! I would pay (also depending on size) $100, possibly she could do different sizes for different amounts!
Oh yeah, I think I would use a picture of my kiddos that I took a year and a half ago with them sitting in the middle of blue bonnets.
Those pictures are absolutly breathtaking! I would definetly have a pic of Ashlyn done.
I would pay somewhere around $100. but definetly would depend on the size offered.
If I were to win I would have Ean's picture done. (Ean is the little boy we are adopting - he has Ds). I would love to have one of the first pictures we ever saw of him done.
Prices are tricky. If the picture were being emailed I'd say that I'd pay at least $25 or so. For a printed version I would be likely to pay $150-$200 for a 16x20 on canvas or something fancier than just glossy paper.
Amanda
Ok I posted on my blog :)
Posted on my blog as well! :)
Amanda
It would be hard to choose since I have four kids, but I think I would choose Addysen since the contest stems from a pic of Kennedy and since they are linked by that little something extra, definitely Addy. I would pay $25 for an 8x10 I think. I have no idea, I am no good at predicting what something is worth!!!
I love those pictures of Kennedy first of all. Secondly, I just have to enter this contest. Here are my answers:
1. No question about it, I would get a picture done of my nephew. He was only 13 days old when my younger sister (his mama) was in a serious car accident and he and my step mom were killed. He was such a gorgeous baby and it would be a wonderful photo for my wall to remember his angelic little face by.
2. I would be willing to pay $100-$200 if this were a printed version. Probably $25 or so if it was an email picture.
I will be posting this on my blog as well so check them out for 2 entries
Amazing pictures!
Officially posted on our Lewis Family Blog!
What a great give-a-way!
I would definitely use a picture of my beautiful girls!
I'm not at all sure what to pay for something so beautiful, but I would imagine that she could be charging a nice sum for them...they are wonderful!!
Renee....I posted this on my site: http://www.stormysramblings.blogspot.com
Your friend does awesome work!
I was going to say that I would love to have a pic of my two children done, but if I won, I think I would 'donate' it to the poster Dana b/c the story she describes about her friends husband that died in Iraq is touching. I would personally pick that as the winner.
Anyways, I have seen similar pics go for around $100 which I think is reasonable.
Ohh...It would have to be my favorite picture of Angela. My mom is an artist, and a picture like that, done completely by hand in an 18x24 would be around $150-$200. Since some of it is computerized (is it a giclee?) I would say around $120.
I would choose my daughter and pay up to $100 depending on size and framing.
Pick Me!!! I would love one. Not sure which of my 4 children I'd use but I'd definitely love to have a picture like that. Now, if she'd do one of all 4 of my children in a 16x20 for over the fireplace, I'd pay $200.
Jan
I would do my favorite photo of my Mom who i lost last year to cancer. I miss this woman so very, very much...no matter how old you get, you still need your Mom.
As for what i would pay? hmmm, i would pay anywhere from $100-$250 with a frame. Photos and painting of folks in your life that you love are so special to have around.
Love the pic. I would have one done of Lacey and would definately buy one of Lacey. Depending on the size I would guess somewhere around $100.00.
I would use the picture of my kids or 5-generation pic I have... haven't decided. :) LOL
Cost I would say $80-$250 depending on size and backing.
I also posted a link on my blog. :) Thanks - such a neat piece of art.
I would get a pic of all my kids and then have it done.
As to price, I have no idea what something like that would go for. I never buy anything like that and most anything I buy is used or on BIG time sale, lol, so I don't know what an original price for something like that would be.
I linked to it from my blog as well. :o)
I linked it on my blog as well Renee!!!
I don't know how to link it or I would.
I would pick a photo of my daughter from a recent wedding we attended. That's my selfish answer.
My unselfish answer would be Coleman Larson (visit him at carepages: ColemanScott) who is battling cancer.
I don't know anything about art but I'm sure something like that would be valued at $50 to $300 depending on the size.
Hope I win!
Enter me Enter me!!
Since I don't have kids of my own, I would use a picture of my great-nephew who lives in Kentucky (haven't seen him in two years, he'll be three next month). I would be willing to pay around $100for an 11x14" print. Thanks! They are beautiful, as is your Kennedy!
1. Oskar's pic
2. $50
I would choose my daughter's picture. She is 6, the love of my life. I would most likely end up having to give it to my mother however as my daughter is also the love of my mother's life.
Cost? hmm $50-150
What a generous giveaway from your friend!
I would get one done of Kayla and Lucas (of course!) LOL
I actually have no idea what I would be willing to pay for something like that though!
Renee, the pictures of Kenn were absolutely beautiful. I would LOVE to have one of Mara and Elijah to give as a gift to my Mom and Dad for everything they have done for us when Mara was sick!
I would say, depending on size, around $100.
Love the pic of Kennedy. Lu is very talented. IF I won I would have a picture done of my niece. I don't have a clue as to what to charge or what I would pay. Maybe Lu could check out some etsy shops. I think in the $100 range depending on the size.

Renee,
I would love a pic.. I would use my girls pics for sure but not sure which one individually since they are all beautiful..Probably the baby though....I am not sure how much I would pay since my hubby just lost his job in a lay off and money is nowhere..
Love, marci
I would send a pic of my family! I think $50-250 sounds good depending on the size! Thanks!
Jennifer
I would use a b-day pic from Ethan's first birthday just a few weeks ago though I have so many good ones to choose from I may use a baby one of him- I would spend probably like 200.00 on it.
Thanks for the contest
