I just realized I have nothing to say today! LOL SO you all get to listen to my mindless babble! Hopefully it won't be as painful as it sounds! haha
Kennedy is sick. Again. She has a high fever. Again. I am SO sick of FEVERS! I'm not taking her in this time just so they can tell me she has a virus, because really, this time, I think it IS indeed a virus. Her tummy seems to be cramping because she will be laying there and start crying and holding her tummy and saying she has to go potty. I'll put her on her potty chair but she won't go :(. She's all curled up on the couch watching cartoons. She won't eat, but she's drinking GREAT, so we'll ride it out... and pray the other kids don't get it.
My van is in the shop... They said it's probably the rack and pinion steering. (I'm probably saying that TOTALLY wrong, feel free to correct me! haha) I'm waiting for them to call and tell me how broke we're going to be... and then they need to hurry up and fix it! I hate being without a car and I have places to go, people!!! There should be some unspoken rule that cars cannot have problems in the month of December. So much to do, so little time and everyone's broke! All car trouble should have to wait until January. Sounds good, right?! :)
OK this post sounds whiney... and really, I'm not whining... or at least I'm trying not to... except about the fever stuff. Seriously. They need to stay away. Kennedy is whining right now that she wants to watch Hannah Montana. But Hannah Montana isn't ON right now. What's a mom to do?! LOL
Kass and Kam are up cleaning Kam's room... then they get to do Kass' room... then the play room. Maybe Kennedy is faking her fever so she doesn't have to clean! No? Yeah probably not! If the kids would just learn to put things away when they're done with them, they wouldn't have this problem.
SOOOO do you all have your Christmas shopping done? Wrapping? Baking? You DO know there are only 2 days left right? Hello? I have some things to wrap... ok a LOT of things to wrap. *sigh* AND I'm still waiting for packages to be delivered! No stress! Ahhh the Fedex guy just rang the doorbell... but it wasn't a package I was waiting on! Que Sera Sera. (Bet you didn't know I could speak Spanish, huh?!)
OK nuff babble from me. I'm off to wrap presents and transfer the washer load to the dryer and put another load in the washer and wait for them to call about my van. I'll be back later with more interesting stuff.
YAYYYYY They just called and my power steering fluid was very low and a couple hoses were leaking and it came to a grand total of $41!!! YAY!!!! Merry Christmas to ME!

LOL, that was your most random post ever...I loved it! I'm glad your car wasn't worse than $41, that's awesome. I hope Kennedy starts feeling better soon. She's had a rough time lately with those fevers, I hope they go away soon, and stay away! Have fun doing laundry! I'm off to do the same.
Ok, I like Lyndi think, this post was random...but I loved it too.
Truly I think most all my post are random...shows how I think.. LOL!
Happy about your van!
Here I sit and blog when I need to be doing laundry, wrapping boat loads of presents, vacuuming the cheerios off my floor, baking, and I really need a shower...TMI!
Thanks for the reminder that I'm way behind, that's my life this Christmas...still love it though.
Praying for Kenn... off to shower then maybe I'll get moving faster:)
You have got to get TIVO for the Sincess so she can watch Hannah Montana whenever she wants!!!
Your ramdom posts are the Best!
Hey, I'm in the same boat as you with sickies. I sent Kaitlyn to school today in spite of an ear ache. She couldn't miss her last day though, right? The only time the doctor could see us is at 4 and since we're down to one car I'm supposed to pick Joe up from work at 4:30. He thinks he found a ride with someone though. Phew. So I will ask the doctor to look at CJ too. He's running a fever probably from shots last week, but he's got a runny yucky nose and a bad cough. And well if Kaitlyn has something I figure better to be safe than sorry, right.
Glad your car isn't too broken. I'm off to go pick up the girls from school and then get their portraits from Penney's. Oh and wipe a boogey nose. It never ends does it?
Definitely a random post. This is probably going to be a random comment. We are at my in laws and they have lots of cats which both Jonathan and I are allergic to. WE don't have all our shopping done and the weather out west is bad. Praying we can fly out to Alaska on Thursday. (I don't mind the bad weather but people in Portland worry a lot about the snow and every thing shuts down) Glad to hear the van is a cheap fix. Merry Christmas!
I love random, mindless babble. That's OK! My husband's a Master Automotive Tech for GM so I know all about car repairs and how they stink at any time! LOL--Have a wonderful Christmas Renee and may your New Year be blessed beyond measure. Love ya.
Sorry to hear Kenn is not feeling well and praying she gets better fast. Good luck on getting everything accomplished....time is not on our side! LOL. Glad the van was an easy fix!
Wishing you, Frank and all the kids a Very Merry Christmas!
i totally appreciate the 'randomness'. that's me all the time!! :0)
Oh yeah forgot to say before only 2 days left till Christmas which also means only one shopping day left.
Yay for cheap car repairs!!!
I'm allll done for Christmas. :D I'm done shopping--and I've even been a very good girl this year, and I've wrapped everything as I bought it, so I don't have a mountain of gifts left to wrap, like usual. Normally, on Christmas Eve, DH and I pull an all-nighter. We stay up and wrap presents, put batteries in toys, assemble stuff, redecorate the tree (cuz we let the kids have free reign over it LOL!), fill stockings, eat Santa's cookies, create footprints in the flour we leave in the fireplace (so the kids know Santa came), etc. etc. etc. Last year, I placed the presents at 4 am. literally an hour and a half before Ryan woke up! LOL!
This year...Christmas eve will be cake. I've gotta assemble a computer desk and hook up Ryan's new computer (shhhhh!), redecorate the tree, place presents, and fill stockings. oh...and eat cookies! LOL!
Yeah about the 41$!!!!!!!!
sorry about the fever!!! i hope the bug goes through her fast.
I still have to wrap EVERYTHING and i need to make my niece a dress tomorrow, lol. why do i procrastinate?!?!?!
So I completely understand and agree with no car issues in december. Two days before I had to drive from ohio to syracuse NY for my oncology appt both my car and my moms car broke down! But I had that nasty luck of it made a nasty nasty noise at me, but of course the mechanic couldn't hear a thing :( but it was fixed in time! So alls well. But glad your repair was so cheap! That happens so rarely there should be cake involved ;)
