He is TOO cute! Manuel has the same one for his albuterol treatments, and although they look adorable doing them, my heart just breaks when they are to that point! :) I hope he is feeling better!
What a cutie even with his face obscured thanks to that mask :) He sure is handling that well. Madison wouldn't let me do those without screaming....she sure wouldn't sit still while I took a picture :)
Grace has that same mask. She throws a fit if you actually use the elastic to attatch it so I have to sit with her and hold it to her face. I think I get almost as much of a treatment as she does.
Is that a dinosaur mask? We have a fish mask but have moved up to big boy mouthpiece. I am glad to see he is not screaming bloody murder. :) Hope he feels better.
That is too cute! He looks so sad though. We never had a nebulizer...they gave Nolan a puffer and aerochamber when he was first dx'd (he was a month shy of 3). My DH kept telling me to ask the ped for a nebulizer, but I heard the aerochamber way is WAY more easier. It's over and done with in about 1 minute, where the neb is about 10 minutes isn't it? Pierce even uses an aerochamber and puffer and he's 2.
I hate that he needed one, but glad he got to be so stylish! He's such a cutie. Maybe we should go back to the olden days & promise him & Aliza to each other - lol.
the hospital have given us about 4of these cute dino masks, however W will not let me put them on his face so the girls use them for their babies...what good that does LOL
Is there a site for wordless Wed? I think that I would like to do that too...I have so many picts, it would be easy to do.
We have that same cute mask and are unfortunately on the nebulizer all winter - at least until March or we get good results from Matthew's swallow study. Keeghan doesn't seem to mind it. Matthew laughs the entire time. It's cute.
okay, this is going to sound bad...but the more they CRY while doing the neb, the better ... when you cry, you inhale deeper than when you're breathing regularly. My 21 year old son had to neb 4 times a day for the first 10 years of his life ... and HATED it ... when I said something to my ped about his crying hysterically during the treatment, he said GOOD, he's getting more of the medicine that he would if he wasn't crying..
I know it's not much help. Listening to your baby cry is hard ...

One day I will have to post about Jeremy. You would think that he is my healthy child, but truth be told, I think I seen him more in his 2-5 year old years with one of these on than off!
It's a pain, but eventually you may end up as good as me. I could set one of those things up in my sleep!

About Me
Renee Garcia
Clarksville, TN, United States
Really, what can I say about ME? I'm a Christian, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a granddaughter, a niece, a cousin, a friend.
My name is Renee, I am 30 years old, I am married to the Army... oh wait I mean I'm married to a Soldier, my hero. Same thing right? I am a misplaced Californian or maybe a Tennessean who's found her way home. I am a mini-van driving soccer mom... I always knew I would be! I am blessed to be able to stay home with my 5 amazing kids. Kassidy: my beautiful, too smart for her own good, funny, dramatic 10 year old soccer star; Kameron: My high strung, incredibly intelligent, silly, sometimes mysterious 8 year old cookie monster; my 6 year old Angel, Kennedy: my heart outside my body; and Keeghan, my crazy, funny, silly, handsome 3 year old who loves to climb and explore all day, and our 3 year old Ukrainian Princess Kellsey who's just begun her journey with our family. I'm so incredibly blessed.

awww poor baby. LOL thats a cute mask.
Well I think Ryan would've enjoyed being nebulized much more if he'd had a cute mask like that!
Hope he's not too miserable (is that from today?)!

Where the heck did you get the mask? My boy has a plain boring one. I mean we need to update for pictures sake.
Carson has that same one and he has a fish one too. I know exactly how hard it is. We end up making it a famliy affair between me and my older boys.
