Kennedy had a GREAT first day at school! Her teacher said she kind of had to redirect her when it was time to move on to another activity, but it's the first day, she'll get the hang of it! Beyond that she said Kennedy listened very well, ate all her lunch and snacks, participated with the activities AND AND AND except for a small accident while she was sleeping at nap time, she stayed DRY!!!!! She's been diaper/pull up free since we got back from Philly (except for bedtime) and I think it's safe to say she is FINALLY potty trained! WOOHOOOO!!! I told her teacher I would start sending a pull up for nap time and she said that was fine. She also said, "Kennedy is VERY social!" Yep, that's my girl! :o)
When I got there to pick her up she gave me a big hug (Kennedy I mean, not her teacher! haha) and then said bye to all her friends... then she said bye to every OTHER class in the school on the way out. haha We got to the car and she said, "I had FUN mom!" She told me they sang songs and read stories and ate lunch. I asked her what she ate and she said, "I don't KNOW!" Oh well we'll work on details later!
When we walked in the door Keeghan ran over and gave Kenn a HUGE hug! I think they missed each other :o). Kenn is only going to school on Monday, Wednesday and Friday so we'll see how she does tomorrow when she realizes she can't go back! Woohooo for school!

Oh that's so exciting to hear that her 1st day of school went so well. Isn't the hug at pick up just about the best thing ever. I'm glad she had fun. I'm assuming she held her own with all those boys. I'm sure she'll have them fully aware of her status as a "sinsess" in no time :)
That IS a great day. How fun!

I'm sure those boys will be put in place quite soon, it won't take long before they know who is really in charge...Miss Sincess herself lol. Does she go all day?...so glad to hear she had fun. I feel sick to my stomach when I think of William going to school (you would think he is s first child ha)
awwww, im glad she had a great day!!!
Thats wonderful about the potty training too.
Glad she had such a great first day!
Glad to hear she had a great first day. Don't you have any advice on potty training. I'm telling you that you could earn extra money. I would pay.
I love it! Too cute!
Oh I'm so glad she had a great first day! And yay dryness!! Don't worry about the re-directing... Aidan's preschool teacher used to tell me how she had to re-direct Aidan AWAY from the Play-Doh... every day... or he would have just played with it the WHOLE time...
So glad she had a great day!!!!!
Its great that she's able to tell you about her day. I still don't get too much from Rylie. Yay for staying dry. She's doing great!!!!
So glad that Kennedy's first day at school went so well :) Also yeah on the dryness, Madison still isn't night trained but I will work on it harder once it gets warm again :)
Sounds like a great first day. Glad she had such a good day. So she goes all day long?
YAY!! Glad she had such a great day!! The pictures of her before school are SO cute!!
That's awesome! Way to go Kennedy!

Sounds like she had a great day! I'm encouraged by how much she is able to do!!! :-) Thanks for sharing. Thanks also for visiting my blog. I've visited yours before (and not commented) from the RR loop. I hope to one day have a reason to really be posting there.
Blessings,

That's terrific! Yes, she is definitely a social butterfly, no doubt about it! So, have you gotten your baseball bat yet (to beat off all the boys)?
I am so glad to hear that!! I am still having a really hard time wanting to start Mayson in preschool. Its good to hear a positive story for a change!!
She sounds so much like Payton. Yay for a good day at school!
Glad she had fun and loves school so much! I know I had a blast at school. Sometimes it would be nice to go back. :)
I'm so glad she had such a great day at school. LOL on the teacher saying she was social. Is she the only one with DS in the class, or is it integrated?
And YAY on the potty training! That is awesome! Is she wiping and doing everything on her own? I know when Em and Ryan were in preschool they had to be, although their teachers were great and they would if necessary.
Way to go Kenn.....you are such a big girl! Potty trained and going to school. We are so proud of you!!
Elijah still can't tell me what they had for lunch, and he is 6..lol!
Awesome school report!! sounds like a wonderful first day. I have never been able to get Nate (my 4 year old) to tell me what he ate for lunch:)
School! How exciting! I'm a little behind in my blog reading...
I'm so happy to hear how much fun she had! I wonder when school begins to actually look like work.
