I just read that today is national delurking day... SO if you're here, lurking on my blog and never comment, or even if you're not a lurker and always comment, LEAVE ME A COMMENT! Right here... right now... Come on... PLEASE?!?!?!
Hi Renee, I've been reading your blog almost daily since the button for Kennedy's surgery showed up on Meredith's blog. You've made me laugh out loud and cry and I pray for your family every night. If you can get to know someone by reading their words I know that you are an amazing person. I love how you speak your faith. I've learned more about childhood cancer than I ever knew. I sent people to Chili's on the St. Jude's day and a clutter bug at my work is having a cubicle sale and asked me what we should donate the money to - I said St. Jude's and then told her we should donate to Reece's Rainbow for the next one. I've read about the children you've known that lost their battle with cancer and I agree "Cancer sucks!" This is so not all I've wanted to say when I've considered leaving a comment to something that has moved me. I think it was daunting to try and share with a total stranger how much another total stranger has touched my life. So, just so you know you have touched my life in so many ways. Thank you. Blessing to all of you, Kelley P.S. You've inspired me to take the new year to start updating my blog. We'll see. It's hard to think of how to keep it short and not write a novel each time :o) P.P.S. I love that your husband got to come home and tell him, again, how great his post for your anniversary was. You have a truly beautiful family.
I am a lurker, I admit it! I found your through BSU and I love the name of your blog. I am married to Keith and have 2 sons, Kastan and Kye so my life is full of special "K's" also!
Yeah I delurked a long time ago as well but I'll say HI! I'm also going to ask a few questions that I keep forgetting to ask. How is Kameron doing with his therapy? What ended up happening with the squirrels in your walls?
I love reading about all of the special K's every day! I've been wondering, whatever happened with the princess contest? Every time I think about it I remember those gorgeous pics of Kennedy in her "Sincess" dress :)
Hi Renee! You asked, so here's my comment! I love your family, your blog & can NOT wait to learn more about Kellsey(& see some more pictures!!) when she officially joins your family:)You inspire me to be a better Mommy, & a better wife! I laugh, I cry & eagerly await your daily updates( & I DO check several times a day!!). Thank you for sharing your beautiful family with us...maybe someday I can say that in person:)
Ok, I think I may have commented once before, but read your blog daily. Your new look is great, and you have a wonderful family. I can't wait to read more about Kellsey too. Thanks. Kim
I am a regular reader and am officially delurking. I found your website probably by one of those crazy google search terms that you have posted :). I actually don't remember what led me here, possibly a link for Kennedy from someone else's website, but I love reading about your family's adventures and keep coming back.
haha that is funny. I saw a facebook friend in real life today and luckily we had something to talk about because each of us had been lurking...otherwise we hadn't seen each other since college. :)
Hi. I'm a terrible comment leaver - I almost never do it. :-/ Anyway... I read every day. Thank you for sharing your life and the lives of your beautiful children with all of "us."
I have visited here from the RR loop. You recently visited me from RK's blog. I listed you as a friend so I would come visit more often. I hope you don't mind.
I've commented once or twice but I love your blog! I don't know why since I'm not a mom, I'm 16 and in high school but I check almost daily to see how you and your kids are doing. I can't wait for you to bring Kellsey home too. Ruby
It's Kathleen again, I forgot to mention I have an 18 year old niece (my brothers daughter) and a 2 year old great nephew (my husbands, brother's grandson) that have DS. We are proud to be a multiple DS family!!!
Hi, I've IMed you, but never left a comment. I really enjoy your blog. I have two special boys whose many issues keep me hopping. I am also a military wife.
I love your blog. I read it almost every day. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
No one has commented on my recent blogs at all. Not since I wrote about parasailing. I thought I shared some pretty clever tidbits, but with no feedback I'm not so sure now! http://stampinpenguin.blogspot.com
Hi Renee, I'm delurking today. I love your blog it was my first blog ever to visit and I love reading about the Special K's..Have a good week. Glad Frank is home safe and sound.
Greetings...I just found your blog a few days ago. I have a daughter Chelsea with AML (in remission dx 1/10/2008 at 8 months old) and a 3 1/2 year old son. You have a lovely family and I have enjoyed reading your blog. All the best to you and your family. Erika
Okay, okay. You caught me. I love your blog and I love your family. I'm a 30 year old SAHM with a 3 year old who was a first grade teacher in my previous life. My day is not complete if I don't check on the "Special K's" before I go to bed.
But I ALWAYS comment and now that you got everyone else to comment I had to scroll WAY down to find the comment space! Thanks a bunch! :o) Glad Kennedy did so well today! These words never cease to amaze me...praying so from Seattle right now! Hi Renee. I am an avid reader and love it when there are new posts on your blog. I have commented a few times. My favourite post so far has to be the pics of the kids when Frank got home. I cried when i realised he'd be home for christmas and how much of a wonderful surprise that would have been for them.
Happy delurking day - I think it's kind of my "anniversary" because I think this occasion is what brought me "out of the closet" last year! I think you know by know that I LOVE your blog and I think the Special K's are awesome!
I didn't even know there was a Delurking Day! I don't lurk on your blog but there are plenty of others that I do lurk on....guess I gotta go leave messages on them :) I love reading your blog though and am so glad I stumbled on it over a year ago!
Well, I've left comments before so I don't think I need to be de-lurked...LOL...but I'm a faithful reader who sometimes finds things out on your blog that I never knew...and I'M YOUR MOM!!!!!
I'm an oncology parent (dd in remission almost 15 years from her first tumor and two years from her second, unrelated, tumor--too bad we weren't in to lottery tickets)who's been lurking for about six months. Love your stories: they bring back lots of memories of when my kids were younger. ~Lori

I LOVE your blog. i check it several times a day which leads me to a question i wanna ask you. is there we can sign up via email to receive notification when you post something on your blog? you know, like care pages do? I would love that. :)
I think I may have commented before, but I'm not sure. I have a 3 yo daughter with Ds, so I guess I originally found your blog through another Ds blog. We live in the Philly suburbs. I love that you update so often! Gives me something to read when I'm surfing the internet. :)
Well you know I love your blog! And I need to steal this post and put it on my blog cause I don't get comments. I think my blog is probably just too boring! LOL!
Guess its time to reveal myself. My 13 year old son was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma two years ago. He's had almost 2 years of clear scans, so he's doing great. We were finishing up as you were starting. Anyway, your blog helps me keep up with the 6th floor Vanderbilt Children. You certainly walk out of 6A & 6B a different person than you walked in.
HEY! I read daily and have never posted. Thanks for sharing your sweet children with us! Im a friend of the Litchfields, I live in Hopkinsville, and currently studying Elementary Education SO your blog definetly brightens my day when there's a great funny story about something one of your kiddos has done! =)
Hey there, I found you from my friends blog at the end of summer. I read your blog all the time and I love it! I've commented a few times, but not often. I don't have a blog of my own, but yeah, I like to lurk around on a few blogs out there!
Wow you have so many "lurkers" lol I see many people from different states and countries who I don't know on my blog...wonder if they will leave a comment for me haha
I check your blog every day (and sometimes several times a day) to check up on your kiddies. Occasionally I leave a comment, but I always get a kick out of your family's news :)
Hi Renee, I don't think I ever leave comments but I do read your blog almost evey day! I can't get enough of your special K's! I used to work at VCH in the PCCU but I don't think I ever ran into you guys (ya'll) at VCH. We live in the Chicagoland area now...missing the nice weather in TN for sure. Take care Erika
Hi Renee! I've been a reader of your blog for a while now, I tend to read it almost every day! Your children are so cute and I love when you tell about the funny convos that you either overhear the kids saying to eachother, or that you have had with them. Kelly

Okay I am a lurker. Acutally an addict would probably be more appropriate. There I said it! That's the first step in admitting you have a problem right!?!?!?
I'm not a lurker. You KNOW I'm here!! Good luck with that paper work. Ours is almost done!! I'm just waiting on the papers I have no control over, i.e. references, dr evals, birth cert., etc. My part is all filled out though!! Of course, ours is different, we got the papers via mail, so we haven't met with anyone yet:(
Hey, not a "lurker" but a daily follower...I love keepin up with your happings. You are an inspiration!! Congrats to the sincess on the potty training!!
Renee, I don't know that I have ever commented before but I love your blog. You make me feel so "normal"! I am a mom of 6, the oldest being 18 and the youngest 19 months. My husband and I will be married twenty years in March! Thanks for the fun stories! Teresa in Shawnee, OK
I have never commented before, but check your blog several times during the day. I live in Illinois. My husband and I are expecting our first child in July and I hope to be half the mother that you are! Thanks for sharing your family with all of us "lurkers!"
Hi. I read your blog everyday and am addicted to it. I check it oftern throughout the day too. I love your outspoken faith. I love how you share your stories. I hope that I can get the hang of blogging but I'm a very boring person so I don't think anyone would read it anyway so it might be a waste of time. Thanks for allowing us to be apart of your life too.
I have am a person that visits quite frequently. I am friends with Rylee's mom Carey. I also have a thing for K's. I have three girls. You have made me laugh and made me cry, but I really enjoy lurking on your site. I can agree with you cancer sucks. I lost my dad 4 months ago and have followed sereral people some who did not make it. I forgot to add I am a Tennessee who is Stuck in Missouri. Can't wait to hear more about you new addition to your family Carol in Missouri
Well, what do you know. I don't post often, but I think I have posted on your site three times this week. I came across your site from a friend's blog several months ago and was attracted to it because your Kennedy and my Rachel (DS, 5 years old) are so close in age. Our kids (my other two girls are 10 and 7) are close in age, and it is fun to read your blog and see that I am not alone in the confusing world of parenting. Tracy
Hi Renee. I confess to reading your blog every day and never commenting. I am a mom to a 3 year old girl with DS and live in Pittsburgh PA - your family inspires me! I LOVE your "Monday Moments for DS". The poems always make me cry! Thank you for sharing. I hope to one day find the energy to create my own blog.
Renee, I am definetly a lurker who loves keeping up with you and your family. I don't blog..no one wants to read a 68 yr. old ggmother's writings. Your kids are really the greatest and they take such good pictures. I loved the pics of Kennedy taken at the wedding. New ggdaughter name is Kennadee.
Even though I do not always comment, you know I am here. As you mentioned in my day late delurking post it just happens. Love your new look and hope you, Frank and the Special K's are doing well.
Yep, I'm a lurker. I'm sure I've commented a time or two, but it's not often. I keep up with your blog nearly every day. How sad that I can do that, and never comment. Well, at least your site counter can let you know that I'm checking up on you!
Its Meredith from KY! I delurked a while ago and followed from the link from Joe P's page close to a year ago. You ALWAYS make me smile through your stories...I wish I could get my act together to blog...i just do Crosby's caringbridge site since we always seem to have some health issue going on! My kids often ask about your family and a friend of mine from church has a friend who follows you as well...small world! well...my 2 cents....keep blogging!!! Meredith
I've left a few comments before...but I'll delurk again! Love, love, love your blog and following your awesome family. Good luck with the adoption....can't wait to read more about Kellsey's journey!
I, also, LOVE your blog...check it several times a day. Thanks for letting me "borrow" your delurking strategy for my blog...even though I technically didn't ask. ;-)
I'm not a lurker, but don't comment frequently, so what does that make me besides busy/lazy? My PJ and your Kennedy share in a wonderful gift of an extra chromosome, making them a wonderful gift to us from God.
This is Kelly. Hi Renee - I am trying to catch up with your blog after the holidays but I am in trade show mode, so I only get on every couple days or so. Sorry!
Ok...I am a lurker...love to check in and read about your family adventures. I know nothing about blogging, but somehow found out about this blog through CarePages...I think Kennedy and my nephew Chase were at Vanderbilt at the same time? Somehow another I got linked because of that and have been hooked ever since! Now I am delurked! I feel so much better now! haha
So it's national Delurking Day? Well, let's make it international. I know you have readers from all over the world who just love to check in every day to see what's going on. Love your blog and read it every day! Linda
Wishing I had time to pop in more often. Usually, I get on and see something I wish I could have responded to earlier (except for that one contest, I managed to snag a prize in). I love your blog. I'm amazed at how often you post and how you juggle the demands of your day. I wish you all the best in 2009!
cant say i never comment but it is few and far between. i love you and miss you. i hope you continue to blog it is inspiring me and has become a goal to keep up with the happs of of the fam.

Welcome!
Welcome to my blog where I take on day to day life with my five amazing children: Kassidy, Kameron, Kennedy, Keeghan & Kellsey, and a husband in the Military. Join us as we face issues with Down syndrome, Leukemia, Deployments, and every day life with 5 young kids! You'll be in for the ride of your life!
My name is Renee, I am 34 years old, I am married to the Army... oh wait I mean I'm married to a Soldier, my hero. Same thing right? I am a misplaced Californian who lives in Colorado by way of Tennessee. I am a mini-van driving soccer mom... I always knew I would be! I am blessed to be able to stay home with my 5 amazing kids. Kassidy: my beautiful, too smart for her own good, funny, dramatic 13 year old who is starting her teen years with grace. Kameron: My high strung, smart, artistic, creative, silly, sometimes mysterious 11 year old who loves musical theater and acting. My 8 year old diva, Kennedy: who will most often be found dancing or dreaming of Justin Bieber. She's destined for the stars! Keeghan: my crazy, funny, silly, handsome 5 year old monkey who loves to ask me a million questions all day long; and our 6 year old Ukrainian Princess Kellsey who is finding her way in the world as she battles Reactive Attachment Disorder. Our goal for her is to make sure she knows she is always loved, wherever that may take her... I'm so incredibly blessed.

Well you know I love your blog! And I need to steal this post and put it on my blog cause I don't get comments. I think my blog is probably just too boring! LOL!
I need to steal this also
i look at your blog often, but seldom comment! I love your kids! they are all so cute!
Hi Renee, It's a day late, but here you go!!
Kaylene
Guess its time to reveal myself. My 13 year old son was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma two years ago. He's had almost 2 years of clear scans, so he's doing great. We were finishing up as you were starting. Anyway, your blog helps me keep up with the 6th floor Vanderbilt Children. You certainly walk out of 6A & 6B a different person than you walked in.
ME!
I read all the time. Don't comment as much as I would like though.
I'm still trying to figure out how you post so much!!
HEY! I read daily and have never posted. Thanks for sharing your sweet children with us! Im a friend of the Litchfields, I live in Hopkinsville, and currently studying Elementary Education SO your blog definetly brightens my day when there's a great funny story about something one of your kiddos has done! =)
Everyday lurker here :)
Hey there, I found you from my friends blog at the end of summer. I read your blog all the time and I love it! I've commented a few times, but not often. I don't have a blog of my own, but yeah, I like to lurk around on a few blogs out there!
I am a lurker... there I said it! I read faithfully though and am truly inspired by you and your family!

I am a lurker, I enjoy reading about your daily life.
Hi Renee!
I am a lurker...but I love your blog and read it faithfully
Wow you have so many "lurkers" lol I see many people from different states and countries who I don't know on my blog...wonder if they will leave a comment for me haha
I check your blog every day (and sometimes several times a day) to check up on your kiddies. Occasionally I leave a comment, but I always get a kick out of your family's news :)
Hi from Edmonton Alberta Canada.

Hi Renee,
I don't think I ever leave comments but I do read your blog almost evey day! I can't get enough of your special K's! I used to work at VCH in the PCCU but I don't think I ever ran into you guys (ya'll) at VCH. We live in the Chicagoland area now...missing the nice weather in TN for sure. Take care
Erika

De-lurking. Love your blog!
I'm a lurker!
I have no idea how I found your blog, I think I followed it from MCKMama perhaps? But if that sounds crazy then I'm more than likely wrong!
Kath
I've commented before, but wanted to just pop on and say hello. Love the new layout/pics! Can't wait to see Kellsey's pic on there as well!!!
Well, I wasn't here on the actual delurking day but here's my comment!
Hi Renee! I met you on MP and then saw your blog link on Nat's page. :) I've been lurking for a couple weeks now. Your children are just beautiful!!!
COMMENT! I'm actually afraid to do this. I only have a few readers and I think they are too lazy to comment! Yeah, but I love them anyway.
Hey! Yeah I am a lurker. I am usually trying to see what's up while at work so I don't stay long.
Hope you get a lot more today!

We're here Renee!!!! Very cool idea
Renee,
I don't know that I have ever commented before but I love your blog. You make me feel so "normal"! I am a mom of 6, the oldest being 18 and the youngest 19 months. My husband and I will be married twenty years in March! Thanks for the fun stories!

HI Renee-
I have never commented before, but check your blog several times during the day. I live in Illinois. My husband and I are expecting our first child in July and I hope to be half the mother that you are! Thanks for sharing your family with all of us "lurkers!"
I'm not a lurker, but I still feel the need to post. It's fun getting comments, isn't it? :o)
Hi! I'm a lurker! I love reading your blog, it keeps me laughing!
Delurking.....
I love, love, love following you, your hubby, and your four beautiful children (soon to be five :) !!!!!!) and your wonderful Mom also!!!!!!!
Great site, wonderful family. Glad to see Kellsey will be joining the family.
i read it and i love it!!

You have made me laugh and made me cry, but I really enjoy lurking on your site. I can agree with you cancer sucks. I lost my dad 4 months ago and have followed sereral people some who did not make it. I forgot to add I am a Tennessee who is Stuck in Missouri.
Tracy
Hi there! #132! lol
I love that Kennedy had a good day!
(my kettle is whistling, gotta go!)
Stacy
:)
Yo estoy aqui!! :D
Creo que soy la única que comento en español...aprenderé inglés, pero por ahora tengo mucho trabajo en la oficina y en casa...pero siempre paso por blog, aunque a veces no comente...
Saludos...
I have commented a few times in the past but not too often. So here I am!
no lurking here, but I'm super impressed with how many people read your blog!
I just flashed you...giggle
Renee, I am definetly a lurker who
loves keeping up with you and your family. I don't blog..no one wants to read a 68 yr. old ggmother's writings. Your kids are really the greatest and they take such good pictures. I loved the pics of Kennedy taken at the wedding.
New ggdaughter name is Kennadee.
I'm here!!
:) Still here! :)
I check your blog just about every day! If I get on the computer the 2nd thing I check is your blog! I love to check and see how the kids are!!
Mallory
I'm a lurker and we need to do lunch again!!
Amy Marie
I'm no lurker! :)
I'm stopping by to say hi! :)
Hi Renee! I've commented a few times before, but thought I'd say "hi" on here too :).

Meredith
Just wanted to let you know I stop by every now and again and read up on your family. I enjoy your blog so much.
Debra
I've left a few comments before...but I'll delurk again! Love, love, love your blog and following your awesome family. Good luck with the adoption....can't wait to read more about Kellsey's journey!
I'm here, lurking and reading pretty much daily. :)
No lurking here, more like I'm a regular!
I'm an Occasionally lurker ;)
I'm here! I'm here! Broken computer makes me a little behind but I'm here! :)
I, also, LOVE your blog...check it several times a day. Thanks for letting me "borrow" your delurking strategy for my blog...even though I technically didn't ask. ;-)
Kari Mika
I'm not a lurker, but don't comment frequently, so what does that make me besides busy/lazy? My PJ and your Kennedy share in a wonderful gift of an extra chromosome, making them a wonderful gift to us from God.
This is Kelly.
Hi Renee -
I am trying to catch up with your blog after the holidays but I am in trade show mode, so I only get on every couple days or so. Sorry!
Be Magnificent!
I wish you all the best in 2009!
hi, just lurking about. I have to say you have one of the cutest families i have ever seen! Can' wait to "meet" kellsey.
I'm lurking and catching up but it's not the 12th...does that count?
I leave comments all the time. You know who I am.
Rare but I'm here!
Francine
