I like to have someone secure with themselves. Like someone who can walk in through my garage door and not feel self conscious about it. Someone who will tell me I have something in my teeth, and not think twice about it. Someone who can tell me I'm being shallow and know that I won't hate them.
I never thought about it, or planned it. I have a very good friend, and we've been friends for over 30 years. We lived in the same town for a couple of years, then corresponded, visited, and kept in touch in HS, through college, off and on for a few years, and now we e-mail.
Other friends I just became friends with. I don't think I can explain it.
Honesty, someone who could care less about the 20 different directions I go in, someone who could care less about my inability to plan, and someone who understands that I can't go a week without falling down and they can laugh with me as I try to get my chunky butt back up.
Hmmm, I don't think I've ever given much thought to it either. But lets see judging by the people in my life that I cannot stand compared to who my friends actually are I guess I look for someone who's responsible. Someone who will be there and listen to what's important to me. People who aren't fair weather friends or who call you up when they have nothing else better to do.
This is Kelly. Someone I can have a conversation with, where both of us take part in the exchange. Someone I can cry with and they don't make me feel like any more of an idiot for crying in the first place. Someone who offers to go to bat for me or sticks up for me publicly. Someone I can laugh with and yet never tells anyone that I laughed so hard I pee'd my pants! Someone who is loyal regardless of where life has taken us.
Someone who can be my friend through thick and thin. I have a few of those and they have even lived similair lives. Someone who puts family first, honest, and can tell me if I have toilet paper stuck to my shoes and not let me look like a dork until I make it all the way to the car. HA HA
I'm a very big hearted person and I will try to bend over backwards to help out so with that said, someone who doesn't take advantage of me.
Honesty, Integrity, Someone who can look at me and know I'm hurting and wants to lend and ear to get me thru it, anytime day or night......Like my best friend that I called everytime we were doing the midnight chemo and my son would get lethargic and I would cry and call her and she would pray me thru it. Everytime. Man I love her!
Loyalty and Honesty. I like to have friends that I know will tell me if I am wrong, have my back if someone says something about me, and challenge me to be a better person(you fit these qualities) Muah!

Welcome!
Welcome to my blog where I take on day to day life with my five amazing children: Kassidy, Kameron, Kennedy, Keeghan & Kellsey, and a husband in the Military. Join us as we face issues with Down syndrome, Leukemia, Deployments, and every day life with 5 young kids! You'll be in for the ride of your life!
Really, what can I say about ME? I'm a Christian, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a granddaughter, a niece, a cousin, a friend.
My name is Renee, I am 32 years old, I am married to the Army... oh wait I mean I'm married to a Soldier, my hero. Same thing right? I am a misplaced Californian who lives in Colorado by way of Tennessee. I am a mini-van driving soccer mom... I always knew I would be! I am blessed to be able to stay home with my 5 amazing kids. Kassidy: my beautiful, too smart for her own good, funny, dramatic 12 year old who thinks she's already a teenager. Kameron: My high strung, incredibly intelligent, artistic, creative, silly, sometimes mysterious 10 year old comedian in training. My 7 year old diva, Kennedy: who will sometimes tell you she's Hannah Montana or iCarly or some other famous person. She's destined for the stars! Keeghan: my crazy, funny, silly, handsome 4 year old monkey who loves to ask me a million questions all day long; and our 5 year old magna doodle loving Ukrainian Princess Kellsey who's been with our family for just 2 years now. I'm so incredibly blessed.

You know, the simple things. ;)

But that's a good question!

With my friends, I can be who I am, laugh until I'm about to wet my pants, and always count on them no matter what!
