So...

How are you all spending your weekend? It's rainy and drab here today so we are being lazy... the kids are playing on the computer and watching cartoons (multitasking!), I have corn dogs and french fries in the oven and am about to go cook some corn and then it's NAP TIME for Keeghan so I can vacuum and stuff.

Tonight my mom is going to come over and watch the kids and Frank and I are going out with 3 other couples for dinner. We're going to Patti's 1880s Settlement in Grand Rivers, KY. We've never been there but we've heard it's awesome! I can't wait to go!!!

We FINALLY got our Christmas tree down last night (I know, I know!) and I'm enjoying the extra room in my living room now! haha I love seeing the tree all lit up with all our favorite ornaments, but I also am JUST as happy to put it all away!

Anyway, that's what we're up to... what are YOU doing today?

Today I am catching up on housework. Davin has spent the last week in intensive therapy, so that takes up most of our days and leaves us pretty tired. So, today we will have a catch-up day!

I want some corn dogs and FF's!!! Can I come to your house for lunch? LOL

I'm just doing nuthin! Well, actually, that's not true. My parents' 50th Anniversary will be in March and I'm searching the internet for gift ideas.

It's nice you get to go out on a date w/ your hubby! Even if it is with other people!

Have fun!

OH! BTW! It was 80 here yesterday! I want cooler weather! And we are getting some. It's supposed to be in the 40's and 50's next week.

Sounds like you are busy! We too are being lazy...the kids are still in the jammies playing w/ new toys. Hubby is watching UT basketball while I tackle the mountain of laundry :) Soon I am heading to the grocery store alone since it is raining and hubby is home (who wants to drag around the kids). And also thinking about Coleman's family as they celebrate his life :( and :)

This morning I was REALLY lazy and got up about 11:30!

I grabbed a shower and then parked in front of my MacBook and watched some House M.D. Then I got dressed and ready to go out as we were going to have lunch with some friends at a local pizza resturant.

We had half and half pizza with Chicken Supreme on one side and Ham and pineapple on the other (we even got to have cheesy bites which is my favourite!)

I went home and tidied up a bit then came to my Mum's to use the tumble dryer - the problem with having a 1st floor flat is the lack of drying space.

No weekend rest for me!

OOOHHHHHH...you will LOVE Patti's!

Not just the restaurant, but the whole community! Something VERY special there!

You have to try the monster pork chops! The bread in a flower pot is so yummy!

Let us know how you liked it...and take your camera !

On the contrary, it's quite pretty here today and I'm STILL sitting in the house.

I plan to get out later and then head to a favorite restaurant with BD and his friends to celebrate his birthday. Go, us, for having date nights!

Sounds like you are having a great day!! Have fun tonight!

I just showered... the kids are still in their PJ's and we are doing nothing. Watching movies, popcorn, disney channel! A lazy day at home. We got 3-4 inches of snow last night so we are staying home!!

Well we just had sloppy joes and tater tots a little while ago... and my dad and stepmom are out doing errands so they said they are going to stop by for a minute (and they generally really mean that...) and we have all of our Christmas stuff down except the tree, BUT Jason has brought the ornament storage box up so surely that's progress?! Oh, and we're getting up to a foot of snow and it is really coming down! Have fun tonight, you deserve it!

A lazy Saturday. Joe is at work, but will be home soon I hope. It's snowing here. I don't know if his replacement will show up or not though and if he'll end up staying because of it. I'm about 2 months behind on my soaps so I've been trying to catch up on those a little.

Don't feel too bad about just taking that tree down. We too just got ours down this week. And as always we discovered stuff we forgot to put away. The kids had left their ornaments from craft night in the car so they never made it onto the tree. And they never got put away either. Then yesterday I got a late Christmas gift from someone. It was an ornament with Celeste's name on it. So now I have to venture down to the basement and put these ornaments into the box of ornaments.

I should be doing laundry and picking up the toys, but being lazy just seems so much more appealing.

Enjoy your night out tonight. Sounds like so much fun. This isn't your first date night since Frank got home now is it?

You will love Patti's! You must get the fried pickles they are so so good. You also get this wonderful bread served in clay pots. If you are a pork chop fan, they have the best. And the pies are a mile high and delicious! I am jealous, my mouth is watering thinking about your dinner. Much better than my diet food. lol

We are going shopping for essentials, TP, Paper towels, food for the week, ya know the important stuff. We are also going to get Jonathan a new Bible, he wants more stories than his Toddler Bible has. I'm excited to find him a new one especially since it was his idea.

I checked out the website of the place you are going. Looks fun! My husband and I NEED to get back east to see my family soon and perhaps we'll check that place out with my cousins :) or maybe we'll meet you there ;) Let us know how it is and don't forget your camera!

We're celebrating Zoe' Gotcha Day. 4 years ago today in Hefei, China we became a forver family of 3! We usually celebrate Zoe style so today we are staying home in our pj's, eating homemade french fries & ice cream. Tonight the three of us are having a slumber party in the living room with pizza, popcorn, & a movie!

Enjoy your dinner at Patti's. We were there several years ago & it was so much fun & the food was delicious. Plus, a night out with adults is always so deserved.

It's beautiful down here in Florida. We're in the high 70's, it just doesn't feel like winter. We attended a birthday party today, and now I'm studying, Bailey is sleeping, and Keith and Aubrey are grocery shopping. Tomorrow, we'll start with church and more studying. Keith and my dad will be pressure washing the house.

I just read Meredith's blog and she and her husband had date night last night, and you're having date night tonight. I'm so jealous! I'll see if I can persuade Keith for date night once football season is over. Wish me luck!

We were SUPPOSED to have a snow storm last night and thought we'd just be at home relaxing. Well, not a bit of snow so we had family over and played Settlers of Catan for 4 hours! FUN!

Hope you have a super wonderful night out tonight!!!!!
