Hair catastrophe & sick girl

So last night I decided I HAD to get Keeghan's hair out of his eyes. So after his bath, I pulled out my handy dandy hair trimming shears and I went to snip. And he moved. It looks AWFUL! I would take a picture but he may just be able to sue me for cruel and unusual embarrassment someday. *sigh* It will grow back quickly RIGHT?! I promise to take him to a professional from now on. I don't know if I should take him now and see if someone can fix it or if I should just let it grow out. In the meantime he can wear hats... right? RIGHT???? LOL

Kennedy was doing SO much better yesterday with just a low grade fever. She was feeling good. This morning she woke up crying, which is unusual for her. She normally comes upstairs and announces "I awake!" to anyone willing to listen. So when she woke up crying I was concerned. I went down to her room to get her and she was burning up. GRR This virus stinks. Seriously. SO she's been camped out on the couch sleeping most of the day so far. This keeps her out of school again tomorrow of course. In the last 2 weeks she's been there for 2 days.

We're supposed to get severe thunderstorms again tonight... hopefully no tornadoes will come with that! Anyway, guess that's about it for today.

Poor Kennedy! I will be praying for her. As for taking Keeghan to a professional to "fix" it, they can do WONDERS! YOu should have seen what some "friend" who was in beauty school did to my nephew. It was aweful. So we took him to a salon and even though it was SHORT, it was very very cute and she did very well. She made it long enough to spike up just a bit. So, if your willing to take it fairly short if they need to, take him. Yes it will grow back ,and fast! My nephew is 19mths old and has had it cut 3 times since that first short cut. It's still soft and smooth like baby hair though.

I hope Kennedy gets to feeling better soon! I am laughing over your son's haircut, poor baby! Perhaps you could go ahead and shave the rest of it for the true Army look? Or just stick with the hats. :)

PS I put a link of your blog onto my new blog, you are under "My favorite blogs." Hope that's ok!

Ummm isn't that the joy of a boy? You can shave his hair if you mess up on it, he takes scissors to it, or you get lice in the house. Not actually seeing how bad it is I'd say take him to get it cut by a pro either way. They can probably figure out something to make it ummm not so embarrassing. Good luck with that.

Sorry Kennedy is still sick :(. That stinks. Hopefully all that sleep knocks it right out of her.
