Noah Whitmer

Ten days ago, Noah Whitmer* was shaken by his daycare provider. He is now in the hospital and has a long, long journey ahead of him. Please go visit and pray.

Don't forget to pray for Aidan and Nate as well. Some of you asked how Aidan fell, if you haven't read the latest updates, he fell out of a screened in window, 3 stories up. I can't imagine how horrific that must have been. My heart is so heavy for all these families right now. Thank you for lifting these families up in prayer.

*I had Noah's last name wrong before... I guess I just pulled it out of thin air because I can't even figure out how I thought it was the name I had before! Anyway, it's fixed now! :)

So sad. what are people thinking when they hurt a little baby?!

I haven't read today on Aidan's blog. I wondered how he fell as well. I kinda guessed a window though. We were always so careful about our upstairs window. Last summer we finally found something to cover them up. (we couldn't find regular window guards). We bought 2 screen door grates (the kind you use to keep dogs from running through the screen) and attached them to some boards then the boards we attached to some clips to the wall. We can remove the cover in case of fire.

Sadness all around. Prayers sent to them all.

I will never understand why someone would shake an innocent baby! It isn't a SYNDROME either! A syndrome is a disease or biological problem. I will be praying! This makes me angry! On a different note, Renee, I appreciate you for posting all these prayer requests. It shows where your heart is when it comes to others!

Just wanted to add my prayers are with those families too. I can't imagine being in any one of their shoes. May God give them the strength to get through this and the blessing of happy and healthy children back home soon.

OMG, my windows here worry me so much. I've asked my landlord to do something about them, but he's done nothing. I seriously think after reading about something like this I have got to take this to the proper authorities for his safety as well as everyone elses. We're on the 2nd floor so it could be very devastating.

Oh and that poor baby Noah. I will never understand how anyone can not know how terrible that can be for a baby. Especially someone who is in charge of babies like a daycare provider. The things people do sometimes just makes me so mad.

Heartbreaking!
Know that I'm here praying hard right now!
Psalms 23:4-6 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
