This cute little guy is Aidan Fredette. He suffered a fall about a week ago and is in really bad shape. He's in a coma and they are talking about putting a permanent shunt in his brain. His parents, Kalen and Melissa, are holding it together the best they can, but it's a VERY scary time with an unknown future. Please stop by their blog and read their story. Please pray! I think this is one of every parent's worst nightmares.

I just read the following off of Brandy's blog. Please keep Nate and his family in your prayers as well.
"Please read this and help this family out. A little boy (Nate) in the 2nd grade here at Woodlawn was in a bad car accident this afternoon. His grandmother was killed and he is in serious condition. He has been taking to Arkansas Children's Hospital. Please pray for him and his family.
I had him in art today. He was so proud of the Mother's Day card he had made his mom. My daughter was in the same Kindergarten class with Nate. His step sister is in the same class Lauren's in now.
The grandmother and Nate were on their way to the school to pick up his step sister and his older brother from after school tutoring. They pulled out in front of a log truck and the grandmother died instantly. Nate has been gone a few times. Please keep this family and the community in your thoughts and pass this along if you wouldn't mind. Thank You!"

Please tell me how Aiden fell? I read and can't seem to find it. I am praying and crying for this family. I just see visions of my little Wade falling and can't imagine what they are going through.
Wow- we never know what a day holds, do we? I will be praying for both of these precious souls and their families.
I checked out the blog. That's gotta be the hardest thing. I'm so curious though how did he fall? He looks around CJ's age and just the thought of that happening to him. Just makes me want to put his helmet back on him.
Thanks for letting us know about these kido's. But do you know how Aiden fell? It doesn't say but I know it happened at home and I'd like to know what to watch out for.

Thanks for posting, Renee! I see many are asking about how Aidan fell...I have been told (not confirmed by family) that he fell 3 stories. Out a window? I don't know. I am sure that it is just too hard to discuss yet.

Thx Renee for posting this. Aiden is at the same hospital Brook was in when she was born and on life support. They are in the best hospital in my opinion. I left a message w/ my email if they need ANYTHING i'm only 45 minutes away. 30 if there's no traffic. Praying for both these little sweethearts {{{HUGS}}}}

Little Aidan fell 30 ft out of a 3rd floor window, head first. He climbed on to a beanbag chair and went through the screen of an open window. Please continue to pray for Aidan and his family. This is a very traumativ time for them right now.
