Q&A #74

Can we sign up if we live in Jersey? OMG, that is hilarious!
I'm sure you can! Free trip to NY wooohoooo!!!

Just wanted to tell you that since I signed up to be on the donor list and sent in my kit(after your blog post last year), I HAVE kept me information updated! I've had to update my address 3 times(thank you Uncle Sam!), but it is SO easy to do! It took less than 5 minutes to complete the kit and even less than that to ensure that my contact information was correct every time we've moved. It's something so simple....everyone should do it!!!
This is a GREAT point! PLEASE, if you sign up to be a bone marrow donor, make SURE they know how to get a hold of you at all times! It could be a matter of life and death for a person with cancer. Thanks Shelley!

I would love to get on the donor list and possibly be a match for Eve.But, I can't afford the $54 to process it , do you know if there is a way around the fee?
Unfortunately, I don't think there is right now. However, once a year they open it up for free registration. I THINK it might be in May. I'll definitely look it up and post about it when it's time!

Mmmmm Cold Stone. Why must you taunt me? Can you mail some over?
Absolutely! It may be a little melted by the time it gets to you though! haha

Hi Renee, I just wanted to share a remedy I've found that helps with ants. Mix Mule Team Borax and powdered sugar together and sprinkle in the area you think the ants are coming in from. They are drawn in with the powdered sugar then get the borax on their feet and take it back to the nest or colony (what do you call it anyway?) I get ants around the kitchen sink especially this really helps without having to use chemicals.....I'm a cancer mom too and I try hard not to use chemical agents in the house. Hope it helps!
Thanks Jan!! I will check that out!

Hahahaha, what did Kennedy do to make Keeghan so mad at her he refuses to say hi to her? I hope he eventually came around and that Kennedy didn't decide to pull the same back on Keeghan ;).
LOL I have no idea! She must have been tormenting him in his dreams.

LOL, poor Kennedy. Did Keeghan ever say hi today?
NO! LOL

You have a beautiful family and beautiful attitude! I just discovered your blog. I am mom to Kyle, age 25, with severe autism and other issues. I am also coauthor of "It's All About Attitude" Loving and Living Well with Autism (an inspirational book sharing support and wisdom).
Thanks Gayle! Please go check out her book!

Where did you get the scavenger hunt eggs? Every year I say I want to do that but I run out of time/creativity!
I am pretty sure they cam from Walmart... Maybe Target. They come in a kit so no creativity needed :).

Can you be nominated again Renee, or do you only get to win once?
No, no, don't nominate me. I just know there are lots of other Military wives out there reading or people who know Military wives so I am just spreading the word :). I didn't want anyone to miss out!
