Well...

It appears that most of you know me pretty well! LOL Out of 184 votes, 82 of you voted that I am NOT going to home school Kameron next year. Now my question is, did you vote that way because you think I would go nuts home schooling OR because you think Kameron doesn't get into trouble at school?! HMMM???

Kameron is definitely no saint and has had his share of troubles this year, but while I hold great admiration and respect for parents who home school, I honestly don't think I could hack it. I'm not dedicated or organized enough! haha He has improved a lot throughout the year and I am looking forward to a successful year for him in 2nd grade.

So that leaves us to the rest...
I have indeed been in communication with our Senator's office because Frank lost his original Certificate of Naturalization which is causing extra expense and delay with our adoption. Hopefully, with the help of the Senator's office, the delay won't be too long. You can be praying about that!!!

I was 99% sure I DID forget Kennedy's hemonc appointment, but I called today, and I didn't. Whew! (SEE not organized enough to home school! LOL)

On Monday I finally faced my BIGGEST fear and went to the dentist after 10 years. (Yes, I make my kids go every 6 months lol.) Fortunately I got a recommendation for a really nice dentist and I only almost jumped out of the chair once okay, twice. Miraculously, I have no cavities. Not really sure how I pulled that one off. In my defense, the last guy really, really hurt me.

Unfortunately, Frank DID get deployment orders again recently and will be returning to Afghanistan in 2010.

Kennedy WILL be starting cheerleading with a Special Needs squad here in town. No worries, there will be no tossing her in the air ;). She will be firmly planted on the ground at all times. Can't you just SEE her dancing with her cute little pom poms now?!

Kassidy is OH so addicted to the internet! She has been having fun playing games on Fun Brain and Poptropica.

And oh my sweet Keeghan. When we were on Kennedy's Wish trip, they left us a Jo Jo's Circus DVD at Give Kids the World. I let him watch it and it's been a love affair ever since. We have watched that one DVD about 5,000 times. Why? Because I can't seem to FIND anymore and they don't show new episodes. We actually got to meet Jo Jo and Goliath in Florida, but Keeghan didn't know who she was then and didn't care... didn't even get a picture of him with her. OH how he would cherish that picture now. *sigh* My mission is to find him the PERFECT Jo Jo toy for his birthday one month from today. *sniff*

And the weird item from the stranger in Florida? Well, you'll just have to watch for that later. It's a great and kind of bone chilling story!

So how held up is the missing paperwork going to cause your adoption? Any ideas? Will Frank be able to go with you still to get Kellsey or with his deployment are you not sure now? That really stinks. Why is it that he keeps getting deployed? Can no one else do his job over there? I know life of the military, but really it must get old sometimes.

I am so sorry to hear about Frank having to go to Afganistan. I'm surpised they gave this so much notice. Is that so they can get mentally prepared to have to go over there? I thought they were bringing troops home, but I guess that's only for Iraq?

He'll be in our prayers!

I have been a home school mom since 1986. You would be a great home schooler, but I voted for that one because I can't see Kameron as a troublemaker.

There only seems to be those two, alas. :( Good luck!

Aiden loved Jo Jo when she was on Disney. Now they don't show it anymore.

Wow, lots going on (as usual! lol)

I voted for the homeschooling one. I totally think you could homeschool but I voted for that because I didn't see Kameron being a troublemaker. ;)

That being said, I really hoped I was wrong and the "untrue" choice was Frank's deployment. I have a friend who has the same thing - it seems her husband just got home when he was going to be sent away the next year...
I'll be praying for you all.
