And for the record...Goofy is a COW! If he's a dog, how come he can walk and talk like a person (or like Mickey Mouse in this case) yet Pluto, who IS a dog, can't walk and talk? He just acts like a dog?

I think I have googled the Goofy issue before. It's complicated by the fact that Pluto is Goofy's dog. A dog with a dog? Somehow, a cow with a dog makes much more sense.
