HAPPY BIRTHDAY KENNEDY!!!!

My beautiful Sincess,
Today you turn 5 years old! This is the day you have been waiting for, the day you can finally say "I AM FIVE!" We've been practicing for days and you've been SO ready for your birthday. I love to see the excitement in your eyes when we talk about your Princess Tea Party. In about an hour I am going to wake you up and we're going to get ready for your special day. You will be surrounded by friends and family who love you and can't wait to celebrate with you. We have all been working hard to make this day as special as possible... a perfect princess tea for my perfect sincess. I can't think of anything better.

Kennedy, you have come so far in the last year... physically, emotionally, and cognitively I have seen you grow in so many ways! You have overcome so many obstacles in the last 5 years and it just brings tears to my eyes to look at you... healthy, happy, and thriving. There was a time that I wondered if this day would ever come. But through everything you never gave up, and you have taught me to do the same.

Being five means that in a few short months you will be starting Kindergarten. I am so excited to see what this year holds for you. I am excited to see the hearts and lives that will be touched just by knowing you. I am excited that I get to experience all of this with you. I will always be your biggest cheerleader.

Thank you for being my daughter. Thank you for loving me no matter what. Thank you for gracing me with your beautiful smile, your sweet laugh, and your gentle heart. I will always be eternally grateful that God chose me to be your mommy. I love you more than I can ever say!
