What does she know about 1922 that we don't know.....hmmmmm?
LOL That's what I'd like to know!
Renee... what's your answer?
Hmm I'm not sure. I need to answer ALL my QOTD's! LOL Let me think on that and I will get back to you!
Pervasive Developmental Disorder (Not otherwise specified).
I didn't know that about Cam, my son was given the same Dx, though the Pead said often when given young (matt was 4years) it will change.
do you have any posts about Cam, and how his Dx came about.... I'm really interested in it all. Matt has such a mix of ASD, OCD, Tic's and quirks.
Only what I have written here. It talks about the things he was doing and how he was diagnosed and how he's doing now.
I have a question...How long after Kennedy finished treatment for AML did it take for her to get strength back? Enough for normal family activity type things?
Hmm her strength never really waned... it was more that we had to wait on her counts to get back to normal. She stayed pretty strong through the whole thing.
I have seen several blogs comparing the numbers associated with swine flu and the numbers associated with childhood cancer - the numbers for swine flu are significantly less but they are calling it a pandemic and the numbers for childhood cancer are a lot higher yet the media considers it a "rare" occurrence - I guess because cancer isn't contagious it doesn't make a good media frenzy.
VERY good point! I will have to go look up those stats.
This is beautiful. Do you care if I re-post it?
Not at all!! Please do! :)
you do such a good job on your daughters hair and they let you I must be doing something wrong.. Karolynn see a brush and runs..
Kassidy... she just endulges me, lol she usually likes the final product though. She has fun picking out hairdos for me to try. Kennedy, I bribe with marshmallows! haha
looks great to me. Funny, she is standing so still with no expression. hehe well, there is expression in the first picture but I was talking about the ones after that, just to be clear, wouldnt want someone to think I thought she didnt have expressions when she was smiling. hehe.
LOL we were late for school so I told her "hold still and concentrate" (I really meant "hold still so I could concentrate! haha) and she DID!
Very pretty! Did she get her hair cut a little? It looks a little shorter to me for some reason there.
Nope, it was curled under. :)
Oh I also wondered how well do these hairdos hold up for her after a long day at school? Did she come home with her hair still looking nice like that or was it all falling out? I swear whenever I put the girls hair up when they come home from school it's usually not still in whatever style they left the house in.
Actually this one held up GREAT. She even slept on it and was able to keep it in today. Some hold up better than others... lots of hairspray is key! :)
Hey until they are big enough (aka get sophisticated taste buds) to voice their opinion the parents get to decide where to eat. If we let Madison pick we would eat at chuck e cheese and Caleb would pick mcdonalds. glad he had a good bday dinner. Love their cheese biscuits :)
haha Oh yes, we've done McDonald's for Kameron's birthday dinner once or twice! He's getting smarter now and picking places like Red Robin! YUM!
Why eat fish when you have RL cheddar biscuits?!? I always tend to fill up on those before the main course arrives! He is so cute! His gift looks like it's soo much fun....and noisy! LOL
LOL Very true!! The piano has a volume button, thank goodness!!! haha
Renee was is the toy Keeghan got for his birthday I love it!
It's the Vtech KidiJamz Studio. This thing is SO cool! It plays all kinds of nursery rhymes, has a microphone, that little white box in the center? You can record music and even your own voice on it and then it pops out so he can take it with him... like an iPod. You can change the beat and tempo of songs and it even has a "learn" mode where it teaches you how to play certain songs. All 4 kids have had a blast with this thing!!! I highly recommend it!
