Q&A #88

Renee-Wow! Lots of emotions there and rightfully so. You and your family have been through so much. Most marriages wouldn't have survived all that you have faced. You have something to fall back on and that is your faith. God has you in a valley right now to see how you will react. Turn to him and not away. God's promises are new everyday. He will raise you up on the mountain soon but in His time. You will be holding Kellsey soon but you have to have patience. I know easier said than done. Rest in the fact that you have new pictures of her and that you know that she is safe. That is more than other babies have right now. Don't be mad at my comments. I know you are strong and you will work through this but let God carry you through. Sorry if I overstepped my bounds. We all love you and your family.
I'm not mad at all :). Thank you for your words, you're right, God has brought us through a lot, and for that we are very thankful... every day. This too shall pass.

SO CUTE! Where did you get that Hannah Montana guitar? Olivia would love that!
Kennedy got it as a birthday present from her best friend Alexa, but I'm pretty sure I've seen them at Wal-Mart. I know I've seen them on Amazon.com. :) That thing has gotten a TON of use in this house! LOL

Also I need ideas for moving Sydney (6ds) to her big girl bed, not sure why Im having such a hard time doing this, guess I think she still is MY baby!
Any moms wanna jump in on this one?! Kennedy moved to her big girl bed right before she started her first round of chemo because we knew Keeghan was coming and we needed the crib! Fortunately it was just ONE more change for her and she took it in stride! She was 2 years 11 months at the time.

I have a friend who can make Kennedy an ACU dress!!!
She makes the cutest stuff for kids and does awesome with Army themed stuff. She can even put Frank's unit symbol or whatever on it. Let me know if you want me to hook you up!!!

Ohhh yes please!!! :)

Has your husband only been in the army for 6 years? I just assumed he was a lifer!!
Yep! He joined in 2003... it's an interesting story actually. I'll have to tell it sometime. The story of US. OK maybe it's not that interesting... but I may still tell it sometime. LOL

So beautiful! I love it! Thanks for sharing it and making my day. Can I borrow it?
Absolutely! :)

Handsome boys! You said, "no more roots". If you think about it that would be a disaster because your hair wouldn't be there with NO roots! Ha!
LOL Yes, yes I did! What I meant was... no more DARK roots!!!! hahahaha

Kassidy's hair is getting so long - Arline's keeps getting shorter LOL
Kassidy wants to cut hers... but I LOVE her hair. *sigh* We're currently in negotiations.

I guess you were lucky him throwing up on himself happened during the summer when it was warm and okay to be naked. In the first picture it looks like he was pulling on his leg. You don't think he might have been sitting on something or in some other way uncomfortable. And then on top of that just exhausted and unable to get comfortable to go to sleep do you?
Oh trust me, that was just part of his monstrous fit! He was totally fine. He threw another one that evening. Thankfully no puke was involved that time.

Will you post if Austin goes to NY. If he is in NYC I'd really like to bring his family some food or something! Or see if I can help in any way.
Oh yes, I will! I think that would be awesome!!! :) Thank you! He has to get through the 4 months of chemo first...

That's a great picture of you! I'm not sure it buys you a year, how about a few months?!? :) You look wonderful.
LOL we'll see about that!

I love your new haircut. Is it easy to style?
Yes, actually it is, I really like it!!

So what gift did you decide to give Kenn's doctor? Just curious!
So, I'm a dork for not taking a picture of it... or of her opening it, but I always forget things like that! This picture is from the website where I bought it. It's for her desk in her new office (and has HER name obviously) and underneath it says
"My heart beats because of you.
Thank you for being my doctor
And my friend.
Love, Kennedy and Family"
She really loved it :). And then I got her a card and wrote her a letter which she said she would read later since we were both already crying our eyes out. I hate goodbyes!
