These girls are amazing... Keeghan has been listening to them all morning asking for "more, more, more!!" They are so young and so good!! This one gives me chills!
The Cactus Cuties really are special. The are so patriotic, supporting our troops and the families of those who have lost a loved one in the wars. They are sweet young Christian girls, care about and do so much for others. They are even more talented and charming in person. AS much as they enjoyed performing in the White House for President Bush and a lot of big celebrities, they would be especially tickled to hear that Keeghan enjoys listening to them. That is just the kind of girls they are, truly humble and down to earth young ladies. I am glad you all enjoy listening to them, they truly are unique and represent what is best about our country, or at least what used to be the best of our country. God Bless them and God Bless your family. A big Cactus Cutie fan. Quentin
RENEE!!!! That's the group my cousin is in!!! Her name is Baylee! Her mother used to help them, even when she was suffering from cancer, and eventually claimed her life in May. We are so proud of them, and the Christian witness they are! They sang on the Jerry Lewis telethon, but not many of us saw them b/c we never knew what time they'd be on!
Hey Kathy, Are you really Baylee's cousin? If so, then that is really cool. I met her and she is the sweetest most remarkable girl, and as you said, such a wonderful witness for Christ. And I love reading comments from soldiers who say how much these four little girls mean to them! Broke my heart when Baylee lost her mom. But God was there for her and is helping her through it. And she sure had the love of her family, fans, the Cuties and the whole Cutie organization to help her in such a difficult time. Even if you knew when the girls were on the MDA telethon it wouldn't have done any good. I did and watched just to see them cut away when it was time for them perform and go to local MDA programing. They did that all over the country, as I was in touch with a bunch of fans from all over who were trying to find a location that was showing it live or at least catch some video to share. The MDA site was so bad that it wasn't worth watching live on the internet. Found one fan that got it live and caught video to share. Did catch them about 1:00 in the morning on a rebroadcast. Was sure glad when bullhead003 put it up on their video home site so we could see a better version of it, and watch it over and over! They were totally fantastic, LOVED their performances. Of course I love everything they do, LOL. Nice to read your comment Kathy.
Renee, I hope you don't mind me commenting and carrying on like this on your site, tried to contact Kathy but wasn't an invited guest, so couldn't leave a comment there. Thank you for allowing me to post this here. Once again, may God bless you and your family, and also Kathy and her family. And bless the Cuties. Quentin
Yes, yes, yes, I am her cousin! And yes, there are more videos out there!!! Just do a search on U Tube for more of their videos. Thanks for the update on trying to find them on the telethon!
Several years ago at one of our family reunions when Nannette was in remission, she and Baylee sang and oh my gosh! The Glory of the Lord came down! It was just wonderful! She had had cancer several times, and we thought for sure she'd beat it that time. This time when she got it, the ending was sad for her family b/c her son was graduating from HS. She managed to go to Baccalaureate on Tues nite, but was too ill to go to graduation. I think he grad on Thurs night in May, and she died on Friday 5-29-09 (I think it was a Friday). And went home to be w/ Jesus where she knows no more pain or sorrow. She's healthy and whole! Praise the Lord!

Welcome!
Welcome to my blog where I take on day to day life with my five amazing children: Kassidy, Kameron, Kennedy, Keeghan & Kellsey, and a husband in the Military. Join us as we face issues with Down syndrome, Leukemia, Deployments, and every day life with 5 young kids! You'll be in for the ride of your life!
Really, what can I say about ME? I'm a Christian, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a granddaughter, a niece, a cousin, a friend.
My name is Renee, I am 32 years old, I am married to the Army... oh wait I mean I'm married to a Soldier, my hero. Same thing right? I am a misplaced Californian who lives in Colorado by way of Tennessee. I am a mini-van driving soccer mom... I always knew I would be! I am blessed to be able to stay home with my 5 amazing kids. Kassidy: my beautiful, too smart for her own good, funny, dramatic 12 year old who thinks she's already a teenager. Kameron: My high strung, incredibly intelligent, artistic, creative, silly, sometimes mysterious 10 year old comedian in training. My 7 year old diva, Kennedy: who will sometimes tell you she's Hannah Montana or iCarly or some other famous person. She's destined for the stars! Keeghan: my crazy, funny, silly, handsome 4 year old monkey who loves to ask me a million questions all day long; and our 5 year old magna doodle loving Ukrainian Princess Kellsey who's been with our family for just 2 years now. I'm so incredibly blessed.
