Just got back from two-hour parade - there was a Pearl Harbor veteran riding in a car, people went crazy when they saw him! Thank you Frank!

Sounds like a nice day. I had plans of washing laundry ;). Joe was working. Actually, he's there right now. My parents ended up calling and coming over. So my laundry was put on hold. And now I've got bags of old stuffed animals and boxes and boxes of books sitting in my kitchen because they were cleaning out their attic. Sigh, I have no idea what to do with all of this stuff.

Thank you Frank! We are so honored to have such a good man in our armed forces! And, I stayed home and I truly labored. It's called cleaning the house! It has just gotten really bad! Nine years ago today I had my middle son Caleb on Labor Day!

Low country boil is like a stew that has low country boil seasoning, red taters, corn on cob, onion, shrimp and smoked sauage. You cook it all in 1 pot and pick what you want out. Some people also put crab legs in it.
We are from South Carolina. Some people call it frogmore stew and some call it low country boil

Beer and BBQ! LOL!

I am reading a great book. It is called "The bookseller of Kabul". Basically a journalist spent 3 months living with the bookseller and writes about what she observed. (Non-fiction) It is very interesting to see the daily life of a family in Afghanstain and it goes into the history of the country as well.

Its my type of non-fiction...a story to go along with the facts.
