Praying for Polly!

Grab This Button

You may remember me talking about my friend Gillian. She adopted Kellsey's crib mate Evangeline earlier this Summer and sent me lots of great reports and pictures of Kellsey.

Like us, Gillian has a biological daughter with Down syndrome as well: Polly. Last week Polly had 3 seizures and a stroke while they were on a road trip. She has since been diagnosed with moyamoya disease and will be requiring brain surgery in the next couple months. Without it she will have further strokes which could cause permanent loss of function to Polly's body.

Please be praying for Polly and for her parents Sergei and Gillian and her sisters Elaina, Zoya and Evangeline as they face moyamoya disease together as a family. I have no doubt that God will bring them through this, but it helps to know people are praying and lifting you up all the same. You can click on Polly's button above to visit their blog and follow this new leg of their journey.
