A Kennedy Conversation

The other night I was sitting here Christmas shopping online and watching a movie when Kennedy was very obviously trying to get my attention. She got it. LOL She was walking around with a little notebook and came over and shook my hand and asked,

K: "what's your name?"

M: "Mommy"

K: "I Kennedy. Niceta meet you! You big and strong?"

M: "Uh huh..."

K: "ya got muscles?" (showing me her muscles)

M: "Uh huh..."

K: "MOM!!!"

M: "What????"

K: "Muscles!!!"

M: "Oh, right." (I show her my muscles.)

K: "Ya wanna see Hello Kitty?"

M: "Sure."

K: (Showing me a blank page in her notebook) "See Hello Kitty? She's cute!"

M: "Yes, Kennedy, cute."

K: "MOOOOOOOOM!!!!! HEEEEELLLLLLLLLOOOOO"

M: "Yes?" (Trying not to laugh)

K: "You want french fries?"

M: "Sure."

K: (hands me invisible french fries) "Here ya go... eat em!"

M: (pretends to eat fries) "Yummy!"

K: "MOOOOMMMMMM!"

M: "Kennedy! You're driving me crazy!"

K: "I not crazy! I Kennedy!"

M: (OY!) "Kennedy, go play!"

K: "OK!" (runs into the other room...) "Hey Kassidy, niceta meet you!"

Kassidy: "Thanks a lot, mom!" LOL!!!!

So cute! She is such a character. It makes me so happy to hear our kids with Ds talk so well, none of my three have that as their strengths.

I can not believe how much this sounds like many of the conversations between Jessie and me. Well, at least the part where Jessie knows what next part of the script she wants me to play, and I get the MOOOOOMMM when I fail to know my lines. What a hoot! She takes our food order, signs us up for Buddy Walk, makes a "grocery list" and expects us to act the parts she has in mind.
Keeps things interesting!

Oh this cracked me up!
Praying!
John 3:14-17 ¶And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
