First, read this post on the Reece's Rainbow blog. It's about Lera and her family... and all the kids waiting for families. Really powerful!
Second, Meet Lera's Family! The Velander family has 4 children right now. They have one beautiful daughter with Down syndrome (sound familiar?! LOL). Molly, their daughter with Ds has a twin sister Maggie, who does not have Ds. I have no doubt they will BOTH have SO much fun with their new sister, Lera!
Turns out this family has been loving on Lera for quite awhile now! (That sounds familiar too!) SO glad they were able to commit to their new daughter in time before she went to the institution. I can't wait to follow their journey to Russia. I know a lot of you will be following along too!
Your parents are coming for you, Lera!!! And we are SO happy!

Renee, that is absolutely amazing!

God DOES provide!!
You KNOW I'm following them on their journey now! lol
((Hugs))
That is wonderful! Of course, now I'm following them on their adoption journey (and oh a couple more from RR). I only wish I could join the club. :( but at least these babies are getting their forever homes, and that just brings a huge smile to my face and warms the heart.
Ahhh! Thanks for sharing our story! I love that so many people care about our sweet, sweet Lera! You are soooo awesome Renee!
Great news!
Know that I'm here praying!
Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

I was thrilled to write that post! Seriously the best news (of course, Andrea followed it with still more brilliant news, so if people haven't read her Friday the 13th post HURRY! www.reecesrainbow.blogspot.com)
Especially now that the UK has officially stopped any international adoptions of children with special needs it was even more heart breaking to feel completely helpless!
I will definitely be following along, as well!
Thanks for the links!
