I'm really still here! Just drowning in wrapping paper! LOL I will get pictures up soon and post about our day! In the meantime, I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!!! What was the hit gift of the day in your house? Was it what you expected? It rarely ever is here.
I'm off to make the kids an early dinner of leftovers! YUM! And then I will be back to work on picture uploading! Can't wait to hear about all YOUR Christmas fun, too! :)

- My name is Renee, I am 34 years old, I am married to the Army... oh wait I mean I'm married to a Soldier, my hero. Same thing right? I am a misplaced Californian who lives in Colorado by way of Tennessee. I am a mini-van driving soccer mom... I always knew I would be! I am blessed to be able to stay home with my 5 amazing kids. Kassidy: my beautiful, too smart for her own good, funny, dramatic 13 year old who is starting her teen years with grace. Kameron: My high strung, smart, artistic, creative, silly, sometimes mysterious 11 year old who loves musical theater and acting. My 8 year old diva, Kennedy: who will most often be found dancing or dreaming of Justin Bieber. She's destined for the stars! Keeghan: my crazy, funny, silly, handsome 5 year old monkey who loves to ask me a million questions all day long; and our 6 year old Ukrainian Princess Kellsey who is finding her way in the world as she battles Reactive Attachment Disorder. Our goal for her is to make sure she knows she is always loved, wherever that may take her... I'm so incredibly blessed.

I got a laptop, a snuggie, a new phone, and an iHome :) and no none of it was on my list! i only got one thing off of my list, the rest was unexpected!!!!!
Gracie's hit present was her Disney Talking Princess kitchen. Meag's was her DSlite. Mine was my ebook reader (total surprise) plus Meag got me FIVE great things (sweater, wallet, belt, 2 fly-a-ways) and Dave didn't have just one...we got him a bunch of new clothes that he's needed SO bad.
We had a great day....glad you guys did too!!! Can't to see pics and hear more about your day!
Renee, hope you, Frank and the kids had an amazing Christmas! Hope miss Kellsey enjoyed her first Christmas at home too :)
My favourite gift this year? Rain. We have been in drought for 8 years out here in Outback NSW, Australia - and now we've had some wonderful, heavy, constant rain. I am thrilled!

We had a great Christmas. :) My 4 yr old LOVES the felt story books I bought him (Remember Colorforms? They are kind of like those, but felt). My 6 yr old is in love with the flat screen tv that now resides in his bedroom. LOL! I kind of figured the TV would be a hit, and I bought the felt books as 'filler' gifts--they were like $14 each at Sam's Club, and I bought them at the last minute when I went for more wrapping paper. LOL! I would've thought he would've loved some of the Melissa & Doug toys we bought him best, but apparently not! LOL!
I can't wait to see photos of your family's holiday!!
oh...and a quick PS...I still haven't gotten the gift card from the raffle. If it's easier or more convenient for the person who donated it, if they haven't already purchased it, they can donate the money to someone else's adoption instead. :)
I feel the same way! I spent most of yesterday and this morning putting up all the new toys and clothes so that I would stop tripping over boxes! Worked on pictures and my blog today too....I foresee numerous Christmas posts as I took so many pictures that it would be picture overload in just 1 post. Looking forward to hearing about you guy's Christmas celebrations :)
Well I think Christmas was a hit here as well.
Coltan got a new flat screen TV and a DVD for his room,
Cody got a new laptop
Carson got lots of new Thomas the Train
Me a membership to our local gym and a GC from Victoria's Secret, and my favorite perfume that I was out of.
Now today is Cody's birthday is today and he got a new Xbox 360.
So with all of our new BIG gifts, I may never see the boys again. LOL
Hmm, I got $$, new boots, and an Xbox 360! (Yeah, I know, I'm a girl but whatever. I like video games!) I love the matching PJs, they are super cute!
Kellsey looks so happy too :) What a blessing to have her here this holiday.
Abby who is 14 got the game dancing with the stars for the wii & that was a hit.
Tammy who is 9 got a cupcake maker that was a hit here.
I got pots and pans, a camera and new jammies too!!

Now this is gonna sound like a real bummer! I was alone and did not receive even 1 gift. See, I told you it was a bummer. First Christmas in my life that I didn't get a gift from ANYONE! It's still hard to believe and I have to admit, I am sad about it. : (
