Kennedy's recital part 2

I guess I should have said more last night about her actual recital!! If you missed the pics, you can see them here. The whole thing was really good! They did Alice in Wonderland and one of Kassidy's best friends, McKenna, played the part of the young Alice. She did a terrific job! There are a lot of talented dancers at the center!

Of course the cute little Oysters and Butterflies (3-6 year olds) really stole the show and made everyone go "awww!" LOL They were all so cute and funny! They were looking off the stage to their teachers for their steps, Kennedy was waving to the audience LOL and lots of other kids were just doing their own thing. I love that the teachers are so laid back with the little kids and there was NO pressure on them! They all had fun and it was a GREAT first recital experience!

After her dance, Kennedy came to sit with me and her teacher in the audience. (Frank stayed home with Kassidy since she was sick and kept the other kids too... Kameron didn't want to go to the recital so he stayed home as well...) Kennedy enjoyed most of the dancers, but she got a little bored in the middle so she played with my phone a bit before it was time for her to go back on stage for the grand finale!

By the end of the night she was worn out but still giddy from all the commotion! It was so fun to watch her! We came home and she showed off her new jewelry box to daddy and her brothers and sisters, ate some dinner and then went off to dreamland... she dreamt about white rabbits and mad hatters, no doubt! It was a wonderful night and everyone's hard work paid off! Can't wait to see what they do for Spring!

I have some pictures of her bun to post later for those of you wondering how to do it. I'll get those up later today or tomorrow!

Well that sounds like a lot of fun. My neice has her Christmas recital tonight and I'm taking Carson.....hopefully he will do okay.

My mom went last night and said that santa comes out on stage several times so maybe that will help a little.

How is Kellsey doing? Is she still running a temp? Poor baby. I sure hope she gets over it fast.

It's wonderful that her teachers are so great with them! My little brother is a dancer and teaches 2-5 year-olds as a substitute and he is sad so many overachiever teachers scaring the kids away!

Kennedy is the utest oyster I have ever seen!
