They Need You!!!

We are getting close to the end of the Reece's Rainbow Angel Tree this year! I can't believe it's almost coming to a close! There is still time though to donate to one of these precious kids and help them find a family!!! Since the Angel Tree started on November 1st, 29 children have been committed to by their forever families! That is AWESOME but we want it to be MORE! We don't want ANY of these sweet children to face going to an institution... and you can help!!

Here are 3 fundraisers going on for 3 specific children right now!

First off, there is Freddie... he is one of Reece's Rainbow's "Other angels". Freddie is a teenager and at age 17 he will be turned out onto the streets to fend for himself. He has epilepsy and getting his medication will be really hard at that point. Many orphans end up in gangs or homeless once they leave the orphanage. He still has time to come home to his family though!

My friend Lyndi is holding a give away on her blog for a Men's Analog Digital Multifunction Watch. Be sure you go over and check it out! It would make a great Christmas present for your husband, son, brother, father, father-in-law, grandfather or any other special man in your life! Go on over to Lyndi's blog and help bring Freddie home and try for your chance to win this great watch!!!

Next up is Zhora. He is a sweet little guy in Eastern Europe waiting for his family to come get him. My friend Lisa is doing everything she can to help him find a family because he bears a striking resemblance to her son, Daniel. To help get Zhora home, Bethany over at Life with Bubba Chicky and Nika is holding a giveaway for him! They are giving away an iPod touch and a quilt to two lucky winners! AND anyone who gives $35 in Zhora's name will get one of the beautiful Reece's Rainbow ornaments with Zhora's picture on the back. Wouldn't you love this little cutie on your tree this year?! Go to Bethany's blog to enter and read all the rules!

This sweet girl is Lily and she actually already HAS a family who is preparing to go get her!! My friend Michelle and her husband are doing the paperwork chase right now getting everything done as fast as they can to bring their new daughter HOME!!! Starting tomorrow they will be holding an online silent auction full of wonderful items for you to bid on! You can help them bring their daughter home and do lots of Christmas shopping at the same time! Visit Lily's adoption blog to see all the goodies that await you! You won't want to miss this!

Last, but certainly NOT least, is this beautiful girl Tonya. While Frank was in Ukraine, he got to meet Amberlyn and Tom who are adopting their daughter Ana. When they got to Ana's baby home, they met Tonya. She is nearing 5 years old and will soon be transferred to an institution. She needs a family. NOW. Go to Amberlyn's blog and read about Tonya... she sounds just wonderful! She's doing really well right now, but once she's transferred, her life will essentially be over. We're not raising money for her right now, though maybe we should be... right now we're just getting her story out there to ask... could YOU be Tonya's family?

One year ago this is where Kellsey was sitting. Today she is home. Next year all 4 of these kids could be home too... with your help. Pray. Donate. Spread the word. They need you.

I soooooooo wish we had the means to adopt her. I would LOVE to be able to do what you have done but we simply don't have the means to do so.

I wish I had $$$$millions to put in the grant funds for all those precious kiddos! It all adds up though, right? Even $10 here and there :)

That is the link and you can get the Tonya's Hope button for your blog and for anyone who wishes to donate you can donate directly to Reece's Rainbow from her chip-in in the same post!

Thank you for posting about her!

Renee, we will be praying for Freddie to find his home. The fact that he has epilepsy touches my heart given all we have seen with Trevor.

I emailed Andrea at Reece's Rainbow to say we would LOVE to adopt Tonya, only to find out that another family has already claimed her. I am happy for Tonya that she has a family now, and feel a little sad and disappointed that we are not the family God chose for her.

Andrea was sweet and mentioned others (Elizabeth and Alyona from Ukraine), and Vika from Russia. Back to praying!
