Tomorrow morning at 5:35 AM, Frank and Kellsey will board a plane in Kiev and leave Ukraine! At 5:30 PM they will arrive in Nashville!!! We hit a few hitches with Frank's plane ticket. We lost the money from his last ticket and had to re-buy it on a different airline, but he's BOOKED and they're coming home!
I'm not sure if all the kids will go with me to the airport, or just me or just Kass and Kam and me... I haven't thought that far ahead yet. Keeghan is being very... TWO these days.
As for me? My nerves are frazzled. It's been a long morning on the phone with the travel agency. I heard some weird news this morning that I'm processing still... And now I'm getting ready for Kennedy's IEP meeting. LOL That should be pretty cut and dry though.
But in a few hours, my husband and my daughter are getting on a plane. And right now... that's all that matters. :)

Wooooohooooo!!!! Welcome home Kellsey!!!!
Oh Renee, I'm SO SO SO exicted to see Kellsey in your arms again, pics. of her with her sibling, and in your home, and just BLOSSOMING! It's been so fun to watch this journey! I've followed a lot of adoption blogs but yours is the first I've followed since before the tug to adopt was there, to bringing your child HOME!
I will be praying your "weird" news, is able to sort itself out, and isn't BAD weird!
That is so wonderful!!! Excited for you guys, what a testimony and inspiration to the rest of us:)
Congrats!
Wonderful News.
Can't wait to see pix of all the Special K's.
Kellsey already looks like a Garcia
And todday is my daughters 37th B'day so that makes this news so special to me.
CONGRATULATIONS!! Of course I am beyond thrilled for you just like everyone else. And dying to see pictures. I am also curious to know how Frank and Kellsey's first night together went. I know you posted that she went right to bed but did she sleep all night?, was she scared when she woke up? etc. etc. Also, did they send her home in her own clothes or are those all things you guys bought for her??
Yay! Mazal tov!
Yay! Mazal tov!
It's time to update your header!!!! Congrats - prayers for safe travels for Frank and Kellsey.
So are you all booked with your photographer for that new family portrait? I hope everything is okay though. You worry me with the news you're processing. So Kellsey is medically clear and has her Visa? So exciting! That's a tough choice if you should bring everyone with you or not. It could be very overwhelming coming off the plane and meeting all those new faces. And all those kids excited to give their new sister hugs and kisses ;). How did you end up doing with your fundraising?
So did you wait too long for the return flight for Frank or something? Will they at least reimburse you for that? I hope so. That really stinks. Can't wait to hear all about her homecoming tomorrow. Think you'll have time to blog about it?
Praise be the LORD!
Now, why are you teasing us with "weird news"? You know that you have let us into your lives & you dare tease us at this point? Spill it girl. LOL!
May I-24E open wide for you tomorrow & you make smooth traveling to the airport. Will be praying for a flawless landing for Frank & Kellsey.

Yay, so exciting! Prayers for a safe trip. Ugh about the ticket, pretty soon all the hitches and glitches will be over! Hope the weirdness is OK. Good luck with the IEP too. I think that covers everything LOL. Trying to clean up the house so I am not putting Christmas decorations on top of a mess...
Yahoooooooooo! Can't wait to see pictures of Kellsey with her family. FINALLY!
SO excited!!!!!
I am so stinkin' excited for you!!! The day has FINALLY arrived! Congratulations, my friend!

Congratulations cant wait till you are all together.
hope everything is ok.
This will be a Life-Changing experience for your entire family, both near and far. Along with great JOY, there will be tough times. But...I know that you're lil family has walked down many difficult paths and have made it through ALL of them, with Jesus Holding your Hands, sometimes Pulling you forward and even some gentle nudges to keep you going forward when you don't want to take a step forward. Oh, and He Carries you, too! Especially when you think you can't go on anymore!
I know for sure, that He Designed Kellsey in His Image and knows EVeryTHing about that little girl! And, on this cold night, He is Covering you ALL with His Grace.
My Prayers will be that Kellsey not be overwhelmed by all of the changes. That she will settle in and just "BE". And, I will Pray 4 you and Frank and your other Sweet babies...that this will be a time of Peace, NO spirit of confusion, complete acceptance of this new family member.
I have this image of you, Renee, holding a sweet smelling, flushed cheeked baby girl...two fingers in her mouth, sleeping peacefully as she listens to the heartbeat of her Mommy. Finally, Kellsey will get to experience the sound of the heart that she grew in! At last, Kellsey will be HOME!
Thank You, for sharing your Journey with ALL of us who have been there from the beginning.
Take care, Sweet Friend....Jo
WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO(can you hear me screaming this?) lol
Yaayy! Can't wait to see pics of her with her brothers and sisters. Congrats!

Woo Hoo!!!!!! Finally!
So exciting! I vote to bring all the kids to the airport ... hopefully seeing the older kids' reactions to Kellsey will help the little ones.
