Well...

My PLAN was to post pictures of the kids decorating the tree today... but instead I've been sleeping soundly at my mom's house for pretty much the last 24 hours. This bug hit me HARD. My doctor said my strep test was negative but with my tonsils covered in white spots and my fever so high, he decided to put me on antibiotics anyway.

Frank held down the fort here with the kids yesterday, thankfully he was only working a half day yesterday. Then my mom brought me back here this morning in time for him to go to work. He said the kids were great for him, thank goodness!

My mom, the kids and I all ended up going back to her house where I slept until almost 3:00 this afternoon, and she spent time bonding with Kellsey... and chasing all the other kids! haha Kassidy's doctor then called and told me that the throat culture they sent out on her from Saturday came back positive for strep, (her rapid test came back negative like mine did) so she's now on antibiotics too. Chances are I have strep as well and the rapid strep test just didn't pick it up. My throat looks (and feels) awful! Hopefully by tomorrow we'll both be on the mend!!

Hopefully the other kids will stay WELL now. I thought Kennedy & Keeghan were getting sick yesterday, but after we got Kennedy's blood sugar up she bounced back to 100% and Keeghan seems to be doing ok... Kellsey & Kameron still seem fine! I hope we can make it through Christmas day all well!! Thanks mom and babe for taking such good care of me and the kids!!!

Anyway, Frank is pulling an all-nighter at work tonight... he went in at 9:00 this morning and is working till 9:00 tomorrow morning. Then he's off through Christmas though, I think! YAY!

I am going to get the kids to bed here in a few minutes and go to bed myself. I can't remember the last time I've slept this much! Thanks for all the prayers and get well wishes here and on facebook! I'll try to get the pictures up by tomorrow!
