We had a crazy day today. It started this morning when Kennedy woke me up from MY bed! Still not sure how she got into my bed! She obviously joined me sometime in the middle of the night. I asked her why she was in my bed and she said "because there was a spider!" Alrighty then!
She was excited to see what the Easter bunny had brought, but Keeghan was still sleeping so I told her to give him a few more minutes. Kassidy came upstairs and we snuggled for a bit and then I finally went to wake Keeghan up. He opened his eyes, I told him the Easter bunny came and asked him if he wanted to go see his basket. He said yes, I got Kellsey up, all 5 kids were in the hallway and Keeghan said, "My tummy hurts!" and then proceeded to throw up everywhere. Lovely!
I got him cleaned up and he seemed to be ok and wanted to go see his basket. The kids ran downstairs, checked out their loot, opened their eggs, played for a few minutes, and I called my mom to let her know that Keeghan may or may not be getting sick when he threw up again. OK definitely sick!
My mom ended up coming over here and staying with Keeghan and Kameron, who said he wasn't feeling well, and I took the girls to church. The service at Grace was awesome! They even showed a clip of Kassidy being baptized during the service.
I came back home to find Kameron feeling fine (I think it was just the power of suggestion with him) and Keeghan very NOT fine. He's been lying around all day with a tummy ache and a high fever. Poor baby! He did manage to keep down a little bit of dinner so hopefully he'll kick this bug by tomorrow!
My mom brought Easter dinner over here since Keeghan was sick and we had a a nice meal. The kids all got new books and had fun reading/playing with those. I went to small group tonight which is always fun and now I'm back home... all the kids are in bed except Keeghan who is laying here next to me being pitiful.
Once he's feeling better there is an egg hunt waiting for them at Grandma's house. I will post some pictures of them with their baskets tomorrow. For now I'm going to snuggle with my little guy!
Hope you all had a blessed day!

Okay, so I seriously wonder if it's possible to pass germs through the internet. This sounds exactly like CJ last Sunday. The good news is if it is the same thing he will be back to his old self (aside from some diarrhea) tomorrow ;). I hope that's the case. CJ was just miserable last week though. Couldn't keep a single thing down. I hate the stomach thing. Especially when they are that little and can't get to a bucket or the toilet. Makes for lots of extra laundry. Sorry you had such a sickly Easter.
Sounds like a great Easter!
Come on over for some mom inspiration and encouragement.
Aww Im sad my poor little monkey is sick I hope he feels better soon. Hopefully you will both get some sleep tonight. I'm so glad you guys had such an awesome Easter. I love you guys and miss you very much. :)
Hope Keeghan's better soon and please, Keeghan! Don't share with anyone else!!!!!
Oh what comfort these words give! Praying!
Job 19:25-27:For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.

not a good way to spend your easter. My kids have been throwing up for quite a while(weeks) but not yesterday. Ragan was sick Saturday and Catherine is throwing up this morning but I told them they could not be sick on easter and they actually listened lol
I hope you all got some rest and you all are always in my prayers
Ugh. I hope I didn't give you anything over the Internet either, my kids were all sick with fever/strep thing and unbelievably no one was sick on Easter morning. Christmas and Halloween have been strikeouts for us in the past... glad you still had a good day and hope Keeghan is better!!
