Kennedy's Ballet Recital

In June, Kennedy had her final ballet and tap recital! She did SO well! She LOVES to be on stage! The theme was A Night at the Circus. We didn't stay the whole time, because it was long, but she did the opening act and her tap and ballet acts. I don't have any pictures of her on stage because they don't allow flash photography, but here are some pictures of her beforehand!

Oh how cute! Kennedy and Sarah is what made me decide I wanted a DS girl! When we talked about adopting, I wanted a girl that I could go shopping with, and share my love of dance with, and I worried that a DS girl wouldn't do those things. But look at that beautiful ballerina! And Sarah and her mom have so much fun together!

She is SO cute! I'm so glad you're back. I don't have as much time for Facebook (it's blocked at work :) as I do for blogging (which I can do at work), so I love that you're back! :)

Could she BE any CUTER?! I love all her little poses but especially the one with her hands on her hips. I really hope Liza will want to at least give ballet a try. Go get em Kennedy! :)

Kennedy looks amazing. The ironical thing is thatwhen I read this post and saw these pictures I hadn't yet read your post about your IEP "troubles". My initial reaction was that Kennedy was such a success story and how she was an example of how mainstreaming benefited everyone. Little did I know I was going to scroll down and get blown out of the water. Glad you're doing what you feel is best for you and your family--that's what it is all about.

Did you see the Regis and Kelly show while they were here? It really IS that beautiful in the summer. Winters not so much!
